Caroline Mulroney is now a lawyer, a businesswoman, and an MPP in Ontario, continuing the legacy of her father. Ben Mulroney is a television host on CTV.

I loved how he chided Turner about the Trudeau patronage appointments during one of the debates quite effectively . He promoted himself as the man to "clean up" Ottawa but ended up running one of the most corrupt era's of Canadian politics . YET I bet the Conservatives would run him a gain in a heart beat or someone with his charisma, something they have lacked since Mulroney

I'd make the argument that Justin Trudeau holds the title of the most corrupt government. Mulroney's government was the first government that were subject to ethic laws and to freedom of information laws. They were the first government in the cable tv and satellite tv expansion. Mulroney's government was as corrupt as any other government, it appeared worse due to the exposure resulting from what I just mentioned.

@@bluecollartradesman715lol Justin Trudeau’s government is nowhere close to the most corrupt in Canadian history. The Pearson and Mulroney Governments each had tons of scandal. I believe Trudeau Sr-Turner and Dfenbaker did too. Justin Trudeau only got in trouble because Harper created a bunch of watchdog agencies like the PBO and the ethics watchdog. One always reminds the opposition and Canadians that the Liberals are nowhere close to balancing the budget. And the other dinged Trudeau with 2 ethics violations making him the first PM to be charged with one to begin with even though previous PMs didn’t have such watchdogs to issue such violations and petty fines.😂

Mulroney wanted his former Cabinet Minister and former Quebec Premier Jean Charest to lead the Conservatives but Poilievre has a Trump like cult following in today’s Conservative Party and won the leadership by lying about Charest and railroading Patrick Brown’s leadership campaign.😂

when he left he had one of lowest opinion polls in Canadian history. He saw the writing on the wall and left before he would have been humiliated. Kim Campbell was left to lead the party and the PCs ended up with 2 seats.

Forty years later and this political ad is still quite relevant, more so today, forty f*cking years later after another F*cking Trudeau. How we just LOVE to repeat our past mistakes. What's next? I better not answer that, justin might take it as a challenge.

And now look at the conservatives. Completely abandoning the "progressive" part by Harper every single conservative provincial party has completely screwed up big time. From playing politics with people's health to encouraging wrong priorities, this party will always be a screw up.

You will never succeed with an attitude like that and with a negative belief system. There are plenty of successful non white people in Canada. I am actually going to call you out as a racist. Only a racist person would believe that white people are superior. Your belief that you must be white to succeed is an admission that you believe white people are superior. Shame on you for oppressing minorities by telling them that they cannot succeed. People like you encourage minorities to not pursue their dreams. You convince them that they are not as good as others. You and your attitude/beliefs are the problem that is plaguing minorities.
