@TechHelpSupport You use the looks presets through the looks builder interface, not the effects and presets. Same for Optical Flares. The only thing you will see through the plugins/presets menu are the Cropping presets. Make sure you have both plugins Optical Flares and MB Looks installed properly to use the presets. If you have more trouble try to install optical flares presets here, keeping everything relative. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS5\MediaCore (optical flares ONLY)

@varsityCreations I might have mentioned this, but the Optical Flares and Magic Bullet Looks preset will work with any version and software that untilizes the LooksBuilder Engine like Vegas, Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc... Same for the optical flare presets, they work with any version of after effects, cs2, cs3, cs4, cs5. As long as you have a proper installation of thos plugins. The after effects cropping presets are cs3/cs4 only, I dont have cs2 sorry.

@TechHelpSupport I know, It's not meant to remove the red names, it's for cropping. If you have the no red names, then you use the cropping for no red names. If you don't have no red names, then you use the no red names cropping.

@matinize If it's not there try searching your computer for it. If that doesnt work, just keep the looks presets saved locally on your machine, and when you load up after effects, premiere, photoshop, or vegas. Instead of trying to use the presets through the looks builder interface. Go to file > load looks. This might not be exactly the process, but I know you can manually load up a looks preset if you have the looks preset somewhere on your hard drive.

@TechHelpSupport Yes, as long as you installed the pack following my instructions, this will work with all of the programs that take advantage of Magic Bullet Looks, like Photolooks, after effects, premiere.

@MethodEdits Be sure to have your Soldier front footage recorded at 1024 768, and then set your composition to 720p. Just like I did in the demo.

@yagami666light Updated, cropping preset should now work in CS4 and CS5. Basically the crop crops the videos to fit 1280 x 720 perfectly. There are just two different presets to chose from. One crops if you have no red names, and another crops if you don't have no red names.

@TechHelpSupport I forgot to mention, but relaunch After Effects/Premiere before trying to use the presets. For some presets, they're just after effects limited like the cropping and optical flares, but the looks presets should work fine. if they dont work, then you can browse to the looks files through the looks interface.

@matinize The way im showing you how to install the presets is the only way. It it's not working, then it must be something with your version of MBL or you dont have a legitimate installation of MBL. Sorry, if you can load up MBL with the default presets, there shouldnt be a reason why these don't work.
