How do you get the import options to pop up when you are exporting the file as an swf?

I dont think import options pop up when importing an swf into after effects. But yoi can go to adobe animate and go to "publish settings" to check the export options!

1. Are both After Effects and Animate the same version? 2. Did you turn on "optimize fornAfter Effects" in the .fla's settings? 3. If that fails, have you tried exporting the .fla as a .swf and importing that? Let me know! I'd be happy to help you!

isnt there a way to export layers and layer groups of a scene in animate to after effects, without having to redo the layer organization? In short: Isnt there a script that does this for me?

okay I tried it it seems quick, but still annoyed a bit

You could import a .fla. But yea' sepearting them out is easiest. Do this a couple of times and you'll probably do it in seconds!

@@64bitsextra Thanks for the reply, I tried importing the fla, but sadly it removed my shapetweens. I dont know why maybe after effects overwritten my publish settings, but I got it done by now
