Another great example of the PC Engine's ability to produce quality ports of arcade games. I can see that the PC Engine version had brighter colors in several stages.
Capcom has recreated the stage 1 BGM of SIDE ARMS's Hu Card version, I think it's one of the great use of PC Engine's WSG sound chip.

Looks like the arcade version has slowdown in places and the PCE version doesn't have any(?) The PCE version also runs in a very wide (for 16-bit consoles) resolution of 352 x 224, making it closer to the arcade's ridiculously wide resolution of 384 x 224 than the Mega Drive could do. The PC Engine really was the best console to handle this game.
