Hey, you make some great support videos, and I honestly wouldn't have felt comfortable starting into any of this if it wasn't for your advice. Unfortunately, after all of the troubleshooting guidelines, it ended up being a failed hard drive. Purchased a new Crucial internal 2.5" SSD and booted from the Windows 10 installation media, and it seems like it is back to firing on all cylinders. I wanted to ask you about data recovery with the old hard drive though. I had a bit of a lag in backup on my external hard drive and there are some files that I was hoping to recover off of the old HDD. The problem is, that every time I try to access it through MiniTool Power Data Recovery with a hard drive enclosure, it crashes the software. Does this effectively mean that the hard drive is so severely corrupted that it is unrecoverable or is there anything else you recommend?
@PC_Monkey Жыл бұрын
Yes, most likely the HDD is too bad and so the DATA is bad as well. You can try bringing it to a computer shop at this point and see what they can do. However, most likely the DATA is gone it sounds like :( Sry

So, I've been having some trouble with my ASUS ZenBook Duo UX482EAR. Whenever I plug in the charger, things start to go south. The computer gets really hot, and then bam! I'm faced with the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) showing a percentage that just freezes there. The only way out is to force a restart by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds. Strangely, once I boot it back up, everything seems fine... as long as the charger stays unplugged. It's frustrating, especially since this is a relatively new computer I've only had for about 2-3 months. It seems like there's some kind of issue specifically related to plugging in the charger.

Hello, I have a Asus Predator Triton 500 SE. I got a blue screen error right after opening my laptop. The laptop then shut off and won’t turn back on. I have a blue power button indicating that it’s trying to turn on but then it immediately shuts off. The screen will not flash or come on, I even tried an external display .

Please help! I read everything on the internet checked every platform I knew but you seeem to be most useful. Unfortunately tho none of your solutions worked. My asus rog g15 strix started randomly restarting and getting BSOD when it was running on battery while working just fine when plugged in. At first I figured it might be a contact problem with my battery. A week ago it started to do automatic repairs like 5 times before starting up, but if it was plugged in, it had no problems after the startup. Today when I was starting it up, it got into an infinite repair loop sometimes interrupted by a BSOD. I tried a bunch of fixes like yours, but it didn't help 😣 I unplugged everything, I only have a SSD, the only boot option is windows, switching plugs, I could not find the restore options and the scan

Can you find any Repair or Recovery options in BIOS?
@bercibi643 ай бұрын
@@PC_Monkey There is no such option in my BIOS. I found the hotkey for safe mode and WinRe but it crashes before the interface could appear. I figured the only option I have left is to take it to a repair shop and ask if they can boot WinRe from USB. The timing of this happening could not be worse as I was already behind with my work and now I can't even do any progress and will potentially even lose my files

Hi, guy, My Hp Pro Book 445 G6 is turn to stuck on the Hp logo when I turn up my laptop, at the same time the laptop also so hot, so is the heating problem causing can’t be working normally and can’t be turn up the laptop? So I need to add some cooling pieces on the GPU and CPU?
@PC_Monkey Жыл бұрын
1. For that issue on an HP computer, can you try the steps seen here? kzbin.info/www/bejne/onzFY6OGhteeiM0 2. An overheating computer can be damaging multiple different components if not resolved. First, make sure that the fan and vents are clean and clear. If you need help accessing the fan, let me know what brand and model computer you have and I can help you get inside it. If that does not fix the overheating issue, then try replacing the thermal paste on the CPU and if needed, the GPU as seen here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZDNZXqGn9WUrc0. If that fails too, replace the CPU
