Hyperinsulinemia shortens ones life, shortens ones quality of life and, as it turns out with PCOS, prevents life from even emerging. Given this trifecta of maladies, all with a strong linked to hyperinsulinemia, the primary aim of any wellness strategy should be to combat this emperor of diseases. The most rapid way to do that is to eliminate the substances that are most implicated in hyperinsulinemia's etiology, which is carbohydrates and inflammatory seed oils. What diet does this the best? Answer: A carnivore diet. This is why men like Dr. Anthony Chafee are so important. They are emissaries for the best diet to address our most pressing health concern. Thank you Dr. Chafee for being such an eloquent voice for this lifestyle.

When I do carnivore (and when I have done other meat heavy diets, like the GAPS intro diet) it is remarkable how in the course of days my so called terminal body hairs soften, and become finer. I have PCOS and I used to go to the gyno regularly so they could monitor the cysts. I was prescribed spironolactone, but I didn’t take it, I chose to try GAPS. Bad habits returned and I am finding myself transitioning to strict carnivore.

I have a friend with PCOS who just won’t listen to me about keto/carnivore. She once attempted keto with me, mind you she did a very plant-heavy version of keto (like that makes sense). She’s since talked to her doctor who unsurprisingly convinced her that keto is dangerous long term. This was all 3 years ago. Fast forward to last time I spoke to her- she needed to up her BP meds, was continuing to lose hair, increased her weight (she’s always been very heavy for someone who stands less than 5ft), and she’s still pre-diabetic as ever. In fact, the main reason I decided to stop talking to her on the regular is because she announced her endocrinologist diagnosed her with metabolic syndrome...something I told her 1) she had long ago and 2) she was going to make worse if she listened to her doctors. I’m fucking tired of people not listening to reason and choosing to eat themselves into metabolic syndrome as if I didn’t already tell them that’s where they’d be if they continued to follow their doctors’ advice.

Yes. I've been working with people on carnivore. They start doing better then some idiot doctor screws everything up. I just tell them you can go down the medication road or heal your body with carnivore. And I say, until you get ready to get serious just stay away from me with your health problems because I want you to see and feel your stupidity. I pull no punches.

Right! Both my sisters are heavy now. The younger one was always skinny until a few years ago when she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. She went to school for nutrition and told me everything I’ve told her goes against her education...but she trusts me more than what she learned. She however doesn’t have the discipline to make changes to her eating habits. My older sister has always been bigger and would have no problem with me eating fried food with soybean oil, but because I eat lots of meat she’s concerned about cholesterol 😒 no matter how many times I explain. Funny enough, her own doctor told her to try keto for weight loss and to help with fertility. So she had to eat her words and ask me for assistance with it. Unfortunately she also isn’t disciplined enough to stick to it.

i’m sure the long version might help to answer my question, But my wife suffers from PCOS and literally eats next to zero carbs. She certainly isn’t on the carnivore diet by any means. And eats a majority salads. So are the greens doing something or not doing something? Or is it something about the carnivore diet that helps regulate hormones? Because she’s going through everything you talked about. Thanks again doc!

Been trying to get my wife to do keto or carnivore...she thinks fructose and sugar are different and fructose is healthier. Can you tell me if a steady intake of fruit multiple times a day would have the same effect as the consumption of carbs or sugar?

She needs to get off the fructose train. Just knowing it is processed the same way as alcohol, in the liver, therefore causing the same problems as alcohol in the liver should be a wake up for anybody.. and the fact that it is still sugar.. it us a poison. I hope you find a way to get her off it. I wish you all good health 💪🏾🙏🏾❤️

I was diagnosed at 15 (now 31) with PCOS and had a baby last year with no medical interventions and it happened on the first try. I did keto back in 2017 for 6 months and dropped 30 lbs in about 6 weeks and maintained that with ease (I’m 5’10 and was 200 lbs to start). I ended up stopping because I lost over half the hair on my head but still had the hirsutism and I was always cold. I want to try keto again but I don’t want to experience what I did back in 2017. I don’t know what to do to prevent what happened to me before.

Keto still has a lot of harmful plant toxins, so the best way to do it is high fat carnivore, so just high fat meat and water. Good luck with it!
@anandananda9515
@anandananda9515 4 ай бұрын
When you are on keto, you have to eat more protein, I already did it and I didn't have that much protein and I lost a lot of hair. Then I increased the protein by at least 2 times, stirred with a teaspoon of butter and at lunch 150 grams of chicken thigh or beef and 150 grams of chicken or beef at dinner, that's around 90 to 100 g, if If you like yogurt, you can also be careful with carbs, that's what I eat for animal protein. Today I do carnivora because I couldn't lose weight on keto. On Carnivora I got my insulin high in 2 months by half and other androgens that were very high went into the reference range. I should stay on carnivora for about 5 more months and then go lowcarb/keto

Can you respond to the video with Dr Steven Gundry, he claims that a carnivore diet is unhealthily long term. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eavYoaqDe9Wbn7M starting at the 3 minute mark.
