The PCT journey continues! We continue to hike through a beautiful stretch of trail in Northern California, but as we hit day 100, homesickness starts to set in. The NorCal blues are hitting us. We continue hiking through the beautiful Trinity Alps and make our way to the nice little town of Etna. Cheers!
We no longer need town beers on the trail! A huge thank you to everyone for following along with our journey on the PCT. However, if you would like to support future videos and future hikes, feel free to contribute whatever you would like to the Venmo or PayPal below. Cheers!

You are doing fantastic. So sorry to hear about the blues. I hope you Can keep going, but only if you want to. I don’t want you to feel any pressure from your viewers. You just do what ever you have to do. It’s been a privilege to follow you both so far.

Gorgeous sunset. Ive seen other PCT hikers get a bit of the blues and it does seem to happen around 1400-1800 miles, hang in there!! Epic views!!! Enjoying your music selections. Only 200 some miles to Oregon! Yeah, if a mountain lion hisses, walk away, dont run..

A hundred days is a long time to be away from home. Hope the change in states has somehow lifted your spirits. That cougar encounter sure sounds strange.

The Oregon border lifted the spirits for sure! And yeah, that mountain lion had everyone on edge all night!

Sorry to hear about the blues. It’s okay to continue the trip another time, especially with the fires. Glad everyone is safe from the mountain lion.

I've seen two PCT signs in the last day that I've never seen before. One was the typical metal with no border beyond the emblem and on this vlog the one carved (?) into the post itself. How many variations have you noticed? A guy I hiked with to PVCafe just finished! I couldn't believe how fast but I suppose he was moving super slow on account of my 60yo pace. jejeje Happy Birth Day!!!! It may have been in that area that an Aussie spent the night, alone, in her tent. She bailed and never got back to the PCT. She trekked all over before/after but we all have our limits.

Not sure how many variations we’ve seen. Maybe after the trail I can go through all the footage and count them up 🤔. It’ll be a lot! That hiker finished fast! I feel like we’re moving at a pretty average pace, but there’s some hikers out here doing 25-30+ miles a day every day. I don’t know how they do it! 🥵

Hey Justin and Anna, can you do a video on the foods you eat on the trail? Id love to get some ideas on what a trail diet looks like! Enjoy your trip :)

We’ve been making lists of videos we’d like to make after the trail. Trail food/diet is definitely on that list! Keep your eyes peeled once the journey is done. Cheers 🍻
