Definitely reminiscent. When I passed by Vasquez Rocks I ran into a large crew filming a commercial. The place was surrounded by bouncers and fences. They didn't let me get close to Vasquez Rocks and definitely not climb it :)

Hi Daisy! I love the Last of Us too! Did you know that episode 8 is filmed in Waterton where the official Northern Terminus of the CDT is? I know due to COVID closure you had to bypass & start east of there 😢 Oh I think you need compostable business cards with your KZbin channel and you can have your triple crown designation on them. Hand them out to those nosy, patronizing section hikers!

Hi! I did know! It just means I’ll have to return sometime soon since I was robbed the opportunity the last time I was there! When I was watching the episode I was telling my grandparents “what if I was just hiking a long distance trail and ran into Pedro and Bella recording scenes” 😂😂 That would be a dream haha Business cards would be a lot easier than having to waste my breath! Might do that…although I’m not sure I want the haters multiplying on my channel 🤷‍♀️

I believe that is some kind of hawk. I love the Vasquez rooks area Yes I am a Trekkie I grew up watching the T.V. Star Trek and got hooked also a Star Wars fan too. I didn't think I would like the Mandalorian but finally watched it and I do.. take care ❤

Good luck kid. You’re in my old stomping grounds. Lived in Agua Dulce in the 70’s. Near the airport. Glad there’s plenty of water on the trail. Should have plenty NOBO! Stay safe!

Thanks Richard! Glad my videos are enjoyable. I won’t be hiking the PCT this year for sure. I Thru hiked the PCT in 2019 in a high snow year and this year is the highest snow year in DECADES. I know what a high snow year entails and I just don’t want to experience the PCT again that way. If I’m going to be spending my money to hike for 5 months….I want to enjoy the trail in a different way. I’ll return to the trail in the future. I have plans that have been in my head and won’t be to long away. 😊

Snow sticks around all year in high snow years sadly. Trails out on the west coast are a lot different than east coast trails. In 2019 I hiked more miles on snow than on dirt trail. This year will be tough and there will probably only be a dozen or so who actually end up completing the entire thing this year due to the snow.

Your Grandparents are so cute:) Great video! If you haven’t watched Poker Face (probably have:) with Natasha Lyonne you should check it out. Too funny. When you saw the movie set entrance it made me think about the series. There was an episode with a casino, but it was filmed a good while back. Anyways, hope all is well!
