So much fun - thanks for sharing! One trick I used while backpacking: I attached a string to my toilet bag, so I could hang it around my neck when using the 'facilities'. It kept it dry (if the ground or foliage was wet) and handy! Happy hiking!

Hi Carolyn 😍... I was wondering what to watch while I ate dinner. I've been cutting sugar and carbs...I went from 355 lbs - 321 lbs in 2 months. I always need new ideas. Been buying Almond milk instead of regular milk now for 2 months. I'm taking baby steps but it's safer. No diet... Life style change. At 43 I'm not losing the weight as fast as I used to. Stay blessed 😇

Congratulations! I lost 55lbs in a year by cutting sugars & processed carbs. I get all my carbs from leafy greens, salad veggies, & berries... no or very limited starchy veggies or fruits (potatoes, apples. bananas, etc.). I want to lose a little more still but I feel much better every day. Keep it up! 💖👏

Hello Carolyn! I admire your independence! I'm working on trying to hit the road soon, my son just graduated college, so it's time for me! Speaking of the boy...he was a boy scout, he is a great cook and uses a ton of spices! To reduce weight on on a backpacking trip for him once, I put spices in straws and sealed both ends with a lighter! I put them in a bandaid box (metal) with a small pair of scissors to pop them open. I'm excited to watch your journey!!
