Great video. I wondered how a little flappy valve controlled all that pressure. I bought a V2 kit to fix one of these cruze turds.

Hi what's the kit you used? Does it repace the camshaft valve? I'm from the UK with an astra that has same GM 1.4 turbo engine as the cruze.

@@Luke-hg3qc camshaft valve? Not sure what part you are calling this. The kit is on one of Mr95Kenny video. It has the link for a v1 kit and a v2 kit, but buy the v2 kit. I made a video yesterday but haven't uploaded it.

So for this engine, a noticeable blowby when you remove the oil cap or dipstick is normal 🤔

Does a14xer engine has non-return valve in intake manifold or just has pcv valve in valve cover ? ( this is naturaly aspirated engine )

Great set of videos which explain everything well. Pity modern cars are such shit complicated designs.

I'm working on a Vauxhall Meriva with this engine. Had a turbo in Novemver 2018 because oil got into the intake. Like 1 litre! It's come back in for the same fault this week and I refuse to believe it's the new turbo faulty as it doesnt smoke all the time. This likely to suck so much up?

I watched your test video for these systems, there seems to be a contradiction In this video you show the check valve going in direction to the intake manifold, in your testing video you say blow into the stub hole in the manifold and the air should flow out to the valve cover and not be able to suck in air ? Unless these arrows are back words then the air would be coming from the manifold in that little hole then through the air oil seperator then sucked into the two larger wider slots ?

Can you tell me if opel astra h 1.9 cdti 150 has oil separator?
@adriandragan1269 Жыл бұрын
Hello! I have changed the oil yesterday an i taught to check also the purge valve(the orange nippel is present) and the oil separator valve from camshaft cover. With the engine idling i put my finger over the camshaft cover valve i didn't feel no suction then i tucked out the oil level rod and i noticed constant suction from engine. Then i spray whater with soap on the camshaft cover valve and i noticed that it makes some bubbles and that it sucks the water with soap. Is it normal? Should be any suction ? Is my camshaft cover valve close to death? I have no errors and no lights on to the dashboard. Please advice! Thank you in advance!

There is only vacuume, so way less complicated as for the PCV valve
