Your videos are great! what I found especially helpful in this video is you show the way you move the tool to get the dent out i.e - which part of the tool you used & the action to get the dent out. Very clear, thanks!

I really should have watched his video BEFORE I attempted the deep crease in front of my door brace...I have done a little bit of PDR in the past (the crease went the whole way along the door, the easier shallower section I have managed to fix ...) I literally did everything you said NOT to do..mosquitos were biting me, and I rushed in with chest puffed out thinking I was 'all that' and smashed the tool into that gap and ended up quite quickly making those last cpl inches ALOT worse..Tomorrow is another day. Im paying very close attention to this vid. Cheers sub added ;)

Im just starting out learning PDR and this video has been so useful. I was just getting frustrated as u could not finish off the dent, leaving a little pimple behind and snail trails. Having watched the video i feel i need to chill out and take it slow, i'm creating more work for myself at the end then i should. Thanks for the advice man.

You explain everything you are doing in such a thorough manner, I can see the ex military manner coming through. Also your editing is getting better all the time. Great camera angles for learners. I see the dents moving, the question I have is how do you determine where the point of the tool is? My imagination is not that good and my superman x-ray vision seems to be lacking. This is a lot harder than you make it look. Thanks for all the tips. I am still learning the craft. Thanks!!!

What do you do if it’s on a truck rear quarter panel that is double walled? Tried pressing from back but it’s too thick.
@RealWorldPDRTraining
@RealWorldPDRTraining 6 ай бұрын
Chances are more leverage is needed, because most trucks are single layered on the bedside, but very hard to move without good leverage. Take it slow. Easy to make things worse instead of better
@Beenhereawhile1001
@Beenhereawhile1001 6 ай бұрын
@@RealWorldPDRTraining good call. Tough to get leverage where it’s at so I eventually gave up.

This is really helpful to me, thanks for sharing! I put a nice long 36" crease dent down the side of my truck, so I want to learn PDR. I bought a tool-kit & have started to learn for myself. The dent already looks a lot better, but I'd really like to get it perfect. I don't mind how long it takes. I'm enjoying learning about everything as I go.

I like your videos a lot for a newbie starting out you make it look so easy but I know it is not. The only thing I am not fund of is the ( music?). It makes it harder to hear you talking. I can not pick up low tones well, it just makes it harder.

This was one of my earlier vids. You are correct I had the music turned way too far up in the earlier videos..... I think I was still dealing with that “everyone hates their own voice” thing. That hasn’t changed, I still hate my voice, but now I turn the music way down so we can hate it together more clearly 😂
