About the automatic windows, there's a CNET video of Brian Cooley answering the same question you made. For a window to have one touch up and down it must have a system to stop the window from choking someone when going up. I may be wrong, watched the video about a year ago

Aussies love their Mazda SUVs! The diesel mode has its place on US roads - but as yet only in California

Good news: Mazda AU just recently said they would retrofit everything which ever came out MZD-connect-equipped with AndroidAuto/AppleCarPlay by the end of this (2018) year. From 2014 Mazda 3s to today's CX-8 and everything in between. Would be some sort of dealer-upgrade-service. At least there will be an option.

When you said about the torque its worth noting that you are driving an automatic. If you tried this 2.2 diesel (175) in a manual gearbox it would defiantly feel more responsive.

hmm I was surprised with your comment about automatic wipers. I absolutely love them. You can generally change the sensitivity of them (in my VW you can) if you are someone who likes them more frequent or less. I don't think I have ever taken over manually from them, but I guess each to their own :P

This was an excellent review covered almost everything and probably the best I've seen and I have seen them all as am considering the car. Brilliant! Shame it wasn't as punchy as the 2.5 because the 2.5 is not available where I want to buy, so that isn't an option. A couple of questions if I may 1. You mentioned there was no sport mode in this 2.2 diesel? I was led to believe there IS a sport mode is the 2.2 AWD sky active. I assume this is what you drove so I am confused. 2. Did you notice the DPF kick in at all? One concern I have is that I will be mostly city driving and apparently you shouldn't turn off the engine if the regen mode kicks in and I am wondering if it is obvious when regent is happening i.e by the fuel economy gauge dropping dramatically Many thanks in advance

If you are doing city driving, stick with petrol.

Once the engine loosens up trust me throttle response and power feel way better

With the upgraded diesel engine, would you reckon this engine will be more punchy with the upgrade?
@PDriveTV6 жыл бұрын
Yes, for sure. Extra power and torque should be noticeable.
