@meshuggner. Wow now that is interesting... I never heard that before! Good stuff!

The guitars are tuned to E. The reason it's off is because of the tape speed when it was recorded. Same thing on Testaments New Order.

Zim Babwe During the instrumental break (so after the guitar harmony that follows the second chorus) there's a "guitar duel" in which Poland plays the 1st and 3rd leads while Dave plays the 2nd and 4th. So in total Dave has 3 little solo sections in this song.

This is a great lesson, thanks so much. As a rhythm player, I often come across lessons that are just for the lead parts of the songs, so it is great to see a rhythm tutorial. Again, thanks so much and keep up the excellent lessons.

Very good teaching! Dave is the master of the riffs. This is one of the best! I remember when this song came out,I could barely play power chords an palm mute. I seen those pull-off riffs,an was like what the hell,that sounds so cool,lol. Nice guitar by the way,an what are you playing through? I like your tone.

I thought the first 3 notes were actually chords not single notes. I'm a noob, so it's more of a question rather than a statement.
@loveandpeace99085 жыл бұрын
As I looked around everybody plays it differently (of course). I really like the single notes sound. It resembles the album much more closely.
