I honestly am blaming fans for the distaste for DC these days. Shazam, Birds of Prey, Aquaman, The Suicide Squad and The Batman have all been good, we're on a good trajectory, so many people are either clinging to something that didn't work or trying to shoehorn some narrative in. I honestly don't care about a plan, or a connected universe, or anything like that I just want good movies. As long as they keep doing that I'm happy.

I disagree with andy and I actually like james gunn more when he’s less filtered. I haven’t seen suicide squad but still loved the fuck out of this show (maybe I will love suicide squad even more). but in some of the episode talks he compared it to guardians and I just cannot agree that the comedy is better in those. I do think james gunn can be a bit much at times but for me personally it’s more tolerable when it’s more “raunchy” than when it has that disney, family friendly filter on it. that being said, I can totally see how peacemaker wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I was just so impressed how much it pulled me in and made me care about these side characters from a movie I haven’t even seen. and I have a whole new respect for john cena’s acting

Nick.. you have to go back and rewatch the first season of The Flash on CW. It is REALLY bad. At the time, back in 2014, those were the only super hero TV things we had and we went along with it but holy smokes in hindsight if you go back.. it is awful.
