I made this and it turned out amazing. I did a few things differently. I used the buttery cresent rolls, instead of regular cinnamon I used cinnamon sugar to sprinkle in the inside of the dumpling which allowed me to cut the sugar I added to the peach juice to 1 cup (half white half brown), I added a tbsp of vanilla extract and a pinch of ginger! Gawd was it delicious! Thanks for this recipe @chriscook4you

alaiyo - please look at the ingredients in the sugar free cool whip. I recently bought some and it had aspartame in it. Aspartame causes brain damage along with many other diseases. if you can use stevia, that is healthy and you can whip up your own batch of whipped cream without the poison.

"I have high expectations" - if that's not a cook who know what she's doing. I dunno what is! So I'm down. Usually, I make cobbler and being I travel innate van full of people, I lighten it up and bring hunks of cobbler for everyone. This is going to be GREAT! Thank you for your great presentation, tips, camera work... and thanks for the onspot idea for CHRIS' PEACH DUMPLINGS! Mine includes about 4T of butter on the bottom, crust flour mixture and peaches on top, bake. The melted butter rises up into the crust, the peaches and juice go down into the crust and you scoop it out. It's from an old and I mean OLD recipe book, where many desserts are "steamed" in the oven - 1920s - found in a flea market. The juice looks outrageous! I can't wait ❣❣❣❣ God bless you ❣

Stumbled upon ur channel, made this dish couple of years back, regular and a dish for my diet/diabetic folks. Forgot about it till saw ur channel, inspired me to go make it again. Just smaller portions this time.

That looked so delicious. I'm going to try making it next time I visit my daughter and grandbabies.
