*Cillian Murphy, Packy Lee, Sophie Rundle, Kasper Hilton-Hille, Barry Keoghan* & *Tim Roth* were filming *Peaky Blinders* the film, just 2 miles North of me in *Little Germany, Bradford* this week, which mainly seemed to be filming on a crossroads less than 25 metres from Tommy's Factory Offices.

@@HonRevPTB My titbits nearly always revolve around my city, its people and its places. It's hated by most of the UK because they believe everything they see on the internet, so I decided to start promoting it everywhere years ago, mainly on the subject of Bradford related film and TV facts. As Peaky Blinders seems to be one of the only Bradford filmed productions being constantly reacted to on reaction channels (other than a few other productions like Gentleman Jack and Bodies which have been reacted to a few times), it's where most of my comments go... However when I see or hear any connection to Bradford whatsoever, I will usually point it out. There's Bradford connection everywhere in film and TV, and it's almost the same with music, although most of our artists are ignored, as most of them the majority of people don't even realise are from Bradford, or if they do, they don't realise how big some of the names they have collaborated with are. For example, there's at least 9 artists who grew up within 2 miles of me, who have collaborated with people like Elton John, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, T-Pain, Raekwon, KRS-One, Ghetts, JME, Mic Righteous, KSI, Popcaan, Wretch 32, Bugzy Malone, Dappy, Jordan McCann, Nines etc and that's without mentioning the collaborations of Zayn Malik who is the most famous 1 of the 9 by a mile. From the world's first UNESCO City of Film (2009) and UK's fourth City of Culture (2025).

See if you can recognise the location they're bare-knuckle boxing at... Yes, you guessed it, it's *Tommy's Factory Office's,* around 25 metres to the East of where the *Peaky Blinders* were street filming on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Season 6 really took a big hit with one of the main actors dying. It feels like the writers suddenly don't quite know where to go and how to get there. I'm glad they decided to make a movie to (hopefully) properly wrap things up.

I'll be interested to watch their reactions to S6 to see if I was too hasty in my exasperation with the season. Definitely Helen's death (I think they've already watched the first couple of episodes, so should know this) had a huge impact. However, I'm curious whether I'll see it in a new light. It wasn't that I thought it was bad when I first watched it. I just didn't feel like it came together in the end.

Royal Marines are on par with American Army Rangers, Special Forces, Navy Seals, etc. They are special operations forces. Barney is a monster.
@marcinsikocinski466115 күн бұрын
You are thinking about today's special forces. He is a WW1 Royal Marine. Special forces are generally speaking a modern concept. Royal Marines in WW1 were for sure regular troops that were used a lot in colonial wars, which gives them a big edge in comparison with the typical volunteer or conscript soldier, that created a bulk of every army during The War To End All Wars, but do not mistake this with the modern idea of special forces.
