This is such a sweet video! I loved the part about an irritant becoming a gem. What a beautiful metaphor for personal development. Every time I wear pearls (which is a lot 😉), they lovingly remind me of so much...of the good things about being Southern, of my grandmother's sweet, modest elegance, and of the strand my parents gave for my high school graduation so many years ago. Very inspiring! I love the idea of focusing on a jewel and color each month and working that into life and homemaking. My husband bought me my first set of pearl jewelry for one of our anniversaries. I found a seed pearl set at a thrift store and love it, too. I'm about 4-6 weeks from moving into our house after being in an RV in my parent's driveway... going on 17 months. 😳 I miss my own bathroom, laundry room and kitchen!! But mainly I miss eating at a dining room table and decorating it up 😟 I will be implementing so many ideas from you when I finally get my own home. I'm looking forward to resuming full and completely free homemaking again! By completely free I mean my own way 😂🤍

I love the combination of these eucalyptus leaves with any white flowers particularly roses. Personally, I would skip in that little beige accent flowers, it kind of distracts from beauty of roses and freshness of eucalyptus. Love, love gem series.

Hi, I came across your book when it was first released and just loved it. It was such a treat to find you on YT! I have so enjoyed your content! I saw something in this vid to ask you about. It was in your skin care segment. You were wearing a wide headband with a silk hair cover. Please do share it's information. I've tried several times to procure one, but so far the items I've received look nothing like the item I purchased. Their measurements don't match, either, they have turned out to instead be a very tiny baby sized! Lol! The one you are shown using is exactly what I've been attempting to order. Pearls and rose gold are my favorite for jewelry.❤❤❤ I feel like there’s not enough options for people with skin sensitivities like me tho, I think surgical steel might be the only one I can wear… maybe titanium too, can’t remember. I watched this video right when it came out and was so inspired! I wanted to report back that we made the couscous salad and it was so light and refreshing! We substituted the couscous for quinoa and it was divine! We will be making it all spring and summer. It makes for a great side dish or stands alone for a nice light lunch. Thank you! ♥️

I love pearls but I can't wear them because I go into anaphylaxis reaction 😢 I have a really bad shellfish allergy and for some reason the pearls carry over the allergen. They are so gorgeous to look at. Thank you for putting together this video.

I love pearls- In the Bible Proverbs 31 talks about a virtuous woman- many translations say: "her worth is above rubies" the words in Hebrew are actually: " and far from pearls is her price" = Her worth is not even close to pearls~ Your salad looks very delicious, i must say though, as someone who has eaten couscous all her life ( i'm over 60) and to whom couscous is one of her top favorite dishes, this isn't couscous...it would be interesting to meet whomever decided to pack up those ingredients and name them "couscous"!!
