This is such a fun idea! Thank you for keep refreshing your homemaking videos! I am a successful career woman with my own corner office, currently I lead construction of an airport, and since my work is so masculine, I just love to indulge in my feminine side: dresses, homemaking and motherhood! I am so blessed to mostly work from home, so plenty of flexibility to spend time with loved ones and taking care of my home. And yes, I direct and manage my teams of male engineers and project managers mostly from home, wearing flowy flower patterned dresses! Lots of my team actually were surprised to find that their boss is a woman with waist length hair and dangly earrings! 😊🤭 I want you to know Jennifer, that your videos add richness and inspiration to my days. And perhaps it will amuse you that some of your loyal viewers, and I am sure I am not the only one, are not what people would call the traditional homemakers, but nevertheless, still a homemaker no matter what. Ah! Emerald green is my favorite color! I even mixed the perfect green color to paint the island in my all white kitchen. I decided to name the color “Emerald Isle”. 😉 It pairs so well with my marble countertops and gold hardware. Enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing.

This is such a lovely idea. Sapphire and dark blues are currently my favourite so if you don't make a video for that soon i think I'll go ahead and make my own list! I resisted thinking of myself as a homemaker for a long time because I have a career, but I also have a family and a home and I want it to be a comfortable and welcoming place (plus I work from home so I spend the majority of my time there). Your home is so elegant and the fact that you have children and clearly work very hard on your videos gives me inspiration and hope that I can bring more elegance into our home (whilst not burning myself out!) I visited The Chef and the Farmer in Kinston, NC several years ago and Chef Vivian Howard, who won the James Beard Award btw, had the most delicious Blueberry BBQ Chicken on the menu! She now has two cookbooks out. I’ve been there many times and never had a bad meal.

Emerald green is the stone of my birth month, and when I was 16, I inherited an emerald ring from my Great Aunt Ida, We had the same birth month. I treasured that ring until it was lost… I love this color of green. It speaks to my ancestry of the Emerald Isle… Ireland. Thank you for the lovely video that has sparked beautiful memories.

What great timing! I watched this while I walked on the treadmill this morning and realized while you were making the pasta that I made the exact same dinner last night (only with the addition of chicken)! And your ring was so pretty it prompted me to put on a ring that was my grandmother's that is sapphire and diamond. I checked out the Superjeweler link and they had some great sales…plus the 25% off. I actually ended up buying a similar emerald ring but an oval with a differently shaped halo surround and was able to use the Christmas check my mother in law gave me that I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to use it on! The cost was exactly the amount of the check and I have no emerald jewelry somehow! Thanks!

I have an emerald ring, necklace, and earring set to honor them.
