I feel the same. I listen to them everyday, Jeremy is my personal favorite, especially the live versions. I will be devastated when the bad news comes too, but i am glad we both were born while they exist. I'm 23 as well, i hope i can see them live sometime soon

I saw them here in Portland Oregon in 2009 or so (my brain doesn't remember the exact date hee), at the Rose Garden Arena. When I lived in Seattle the first album came out so I was a fan from the beginning. The most energetic band ever!! PEARL JAM FOREVER!!!!

so what you will want to do now, is watch the neilyoung/pearljam version of this song performed on the Mtv music awards. to this day it is my favorite performance, i ball like a baby almost every time. pay attention to Eddie though, he keeps looking back and jeff and neil playing the guitar like he can't believe what he's seeing. it's almost to much to watch. it's music tapping into the soul, into the core, into the very fiber of the existence of the condition of the emotionally connected human being from 1 to another. man i would have given anything for neil to have made this ceremony.....
