McCready is a bad ass. His Pearl Jam work is insane as is his Mad Season and Temple of the Dog work. Phenomenal guitarist.
@swiftlessonsКүн бұрын
Absolutely. I’m not sure if I’d be a guitarist without Mike McCready.

Thanks! I love to learn Black! My favorite Pearl Jam song!!
@startrekmikeКүн бұрын
Thank you for actually going over the whole song. KZbin is filled with "lessons" that only tackle one part of a song and sometimes it is difficult to find lessons that can actually bring it all together. Please keep doing this kind of thing.

Release is a phenomenal song and one I can relate to a lot. It makes me think of my father. I started playing guitar because of him. He had a guitar he never knew how to play. I started to learn on it too impress him and it was always a way to get him to smile. He would send me songs to learn like Sierra Ferrell’s In Dreams or Blackburn by the Beatles.

Stones part would be a lot of fun. I learned all these songs when I was a teenager, so it’s going to be good fun to revisit them. Thanks for the suggestion!

Nicely done, played this for a year back in 2004 with a band of friends in the Southeast, heavy Jimi style all the way through 🎶

Sweet lesson on a superb piece of music by Mike McCready. Thank you! Tutorial suggestion: Elderly Woman Behind The Counter. Such a sweetly sad and sadly sweet song.

@swiftlessons That'd be elite! Do or don't do, its up to you. Either way I've been subscribed for about 7 years or so (more like 10 but I dont want to feel that old) and I've gotten 99% of my ability directly from your KZbin channel. In that regard I want to say thank you sir for your generosity and that you are the absolute man.

How about Man of the Hour (Big Fish soundtrack)? It's a bit of a deep cut, but it's a beautiful song, and there are many PJ tutorials for their biggest hits.

100%, the boys just performed this live on Howard Stern and it sounded incredible. Apparently Eddie never had a chance to finish writing the lyrics because the tune was cut from the 10 album.

@@gimmee99 I use my strato at the psotion between neck and middle, second position from the neck pick up. I put an overdrive to have a clean a little durty and a bit of reverb. The secret is to have a good ampli with a nice clean tone.
