I lived in Seattle for 10 years and I ran into the guys in PJ a few times..they were very cool and down to earth. 2nd time I met EV he was more gracious...lemme take a pic and short chat...both times were at small music venues in the city..EV was just another face among the crowd like anyone else there...memorable experience for sure!

@@ryanmcfarland5060 You're so lucky! I saw many videos in the 90s of the guys from PJ just chilling with fans on the grass near the venue they were playing. It looked so wholesome and relaxed. It seems that there were a mutual respect from both sides. So sad I never got to experience what it feels like living in the 90s in the US.
@ryanmcfarland50603 жыл бұрын
@@sofiafarina it wasn’t always that way. by the end of the 90s, in ‘99 my last year in high school mass shootings became the new norm with Columbine. but the 90s did give us some timeless music looking back over 20 years later..

He's gone way beyond what other famous people have . His personality and the message he speaks about in his music go hand in hand. Its makes the songs so much more meaningful. I find the fact he's still the same soft spoken, genital soul he was in 89-90 when he worked as a doorman at a San Diego punk club . Unfortunately, he's the last of the great singer/ songwriters. Give Eddie a acoustic guitar and a PA and he'll captivate any crowd. Leaving them with a memory of a lifetime. Were given maybe one or two Eddie Vedders in a lifetime. Thankfully I was lucky enough to watch his while career. Thank God he made it through the gauntlet of being a rock star. Imagine all the memorable moments and songs the we would of never known and the lives never touched. Thank you Eddie. Thank you
