I remember back in '07, getting the deluxe class Bee from the first movie and thinking "Wow, it cannot get any better than this." Then 2 years later the Human Alliance version dropped and made me say the same thing again. Now this masterpiece version drops and I'm actually really hoping it doesn't get better after this because my wallet is screaming. Great review!

In every movie since the first movie, Bumblebee has had a second set of wings below the doors. I've studied every character model since the first movie trying to figure out how they would transform in real life.... I never thought they'd be able to make this figure look so much like the movie

Those smaller wing pieces have been on movie Bumblebee since the first movie, and were only briefly gone in the fourth movie when he decided to mimic Stinger.

I was never a big fan of the bayformers, barring a small group of exceptions... and I really never cared for the movies...but seeing this not only makes me kinda want mp movie bumblebee, it also makes me want to see more movie masterpiece. maybe bonecrusher will finally get a good toy :0 and I would really like to see an mp barricade or blackout

The engineering on BB here is super impressive, I just wish it was on a character I cared more for. Fingers crossed for some other Autobot movie cars done this well. (or Barricade or Soundwave)

I have to say that the transformation on bumblebee is incredibly well done and really good with folding up the car parts from the car when it's in car mode. I wish I had this when I was a kid or whenever I saw the first movies of transformers.

It's been so long since I've gotten a movie BB that I've completely forgotten the last BB I bought was the Battle Bade Bumblebee, till it was mentioned in the comments. I really want this now. And am kicking myself a bit for passing on it when I had the chance thinking it's just another BB.

Bumblebee from 2007 gets Re-Paint and looking very nice and good. Hope Masterpiece also released other Decepticon like Barricade , Blackout , Grindor , Onslaught , or Lockdown Set with Steeljaw 👍👍👍.

The reason why the bottom wings look familiar to you is because they've been on every movie bumblebee design since the original in some capacity. Peoples' issue with it isn't that they're there it's that they're upside down the wide part is supposed to be facing out

I still remember being slightly amused seeing his door wings were actually little robo-bee wings the first time he transformed on screen

The new TF movie, is well a horse does a backflip in the first minute of the film. The movie then does multiple backflips to try and make sense and yet I'm still confused through most of it.

Pretty accurate, but it would be an actual masterpiece if it had the seats and steering wheel, as well as more accurate hills. Anyway, best version we got so far.

I've always liked movie Bee's design...It's a shame he and the movies themselves are so hated in pop culture. I wish they could have figured out a better way to do his lower little window wing bits. Maybe somehow have had them attached to the kibble that folds away into the back of the chest, would have put them closer to his back like in the original character design.

Wow. If you really collect Transformers, you'll notice the gradual shrinking, quality reducing, paint removing slope downhill these "Masterpiece" figures are guilty of. My original Masterpiece Bumblebee MPM-2 is so much more exciting! Full paint. Full size. Click for days. Knock offs are now winning Hasbro. Takara, don't put your name to it if it ain't painted.

mr22turner The original "MP" movie Bumblebee was just a repaint of the Battle Ops version wich was way too big to fit in with anything. The smaller scale here makes way more sense as he fits in with MP scale figures. Plus this figure is better than MPM-2 in every single way.

Hopefully Takara is not asking $100+ dollars for this figure that looks like a regular retail movie figure that you can find on store shellves. This is a $30 dollar figure at most. Anymore, you're being ripped off. What a shitty looking TF figure!

Another Bumblebee figure, but a really cool one at that. The transformation is quite involved, but the end results are quite satisfactory.
