We used to get together every December and make tons of different candy for friends and family. She was from West Virginia and I am from Tennessee, and we lived in Georgia. You can also add some maraschino cherries to the candy dough and that's very nice as well. It also helps him mix a bit better.

I would like to see you make the divinity-type nugget. I saw one video but she was not able to put many pecans on it because the divinity hardened too quickly. I like the way you used caramel on this one to make the pecans stick.

I found you while trying to find a recipe for marshmallow pecan puffs. My parents and I were wishing we had a place to buy pecan candy like back in the 70s. (Stuckeys!) The pecan puffs we remember seemed to be marshmallows dipped in caramel and rolled in pecans. I’ve looked all over and can’t find any, so decided to make them myself. Thank you for posting this! This will be my second try at making them (my first try was a disaster) and I now think I know what I did wrong!

I saw a candy co. make what I think you are talking about. They took a marshmallow, dipped in caramel, then pecans, and i think they dipped in chocolate, but I'm not for sure. I love making candy this time of the year. It does bring back a lot of memories and when I was little, getting a pecan log roll from Stuckey was a treat. That candy co I was talking about has videos on here. It's Hercules Candy. I have watched them for years

My great gramma, moo moo (they had a small dairy) made this. She would would make divinity and I was always her helper!! Such good memories eating and licking the divinity off the beaters and bowl and spatula 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My favorite cake of hers was a sour cream pound cake with divinity icing 😇😇😇😇

Thank you so much. This is really easy to make and I can make myself sick eating them. I love pecans. My nails have always been this way. I can remember my first grade teacher talking about my nails. Only bad thing is, when they break, they break at the bottom, but they quickly grow back. Thanks for your kind words!!! When i was pregnant and on those vitamins, all the doctors and nurses loved my nails. They would grow so long. How is the weather out in California? I would love to visit there if I wasn't afraid to fly.
