The gooey goodness... layer with pecans on top🤗 The mall in Augusta Ga..has this great cookie shop inside..they have this one cookie which is my absolute favorite!! The pecan pie cookie! Donna, the texture looks just right. the first time I had a pecan pie I was apprehensive too. I thought it would taste too, too sweet. But I was surprised, it was sweet and buttery and just right balance and it most reminded me of a candy bar.

The pecan pie 🥧looks really good. I need to give this recipe a try using maple 🍁syrup. I prefer a soft texture filling just as well for pecan pie. Interesting how dude #1 was hesitant in trying something new. However, he seemed to enjoy the top layer of the pie and the crust. Thanks for providing options and easy recipes for the upcoming holiday.

When I was in Georgia for some years i used to always see people buying pecan pies during the holidays. I looked at the pie and the filling and was very hesitant to taste it. One year I finally got the courage and it is part of my family tradition! I can really relate to Dude #1's reaction!

Pecans are pure gold. Made in a pie heaven. So rich . I think I will try maple syrup. Only way one would not like it is if you disliked pecans. I like to make little pecan tarts.

I love pecan pie so much. That was my PaPa's favorite and he use to tease us about it. He was so hilarious 😂. I was just reminiscing today with my mom about how me and my little brother would pick pecans with our Papa. And I would crack the shells and Granny would make the pie. Oh my that pecan pie looks delicious!! I love the gooey middle. It's like our butter tarts up here in Canada. We make pumpkin pie and pecan pie for Thanksgiving and butter tarts at Christmas. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Donna and family!!!
