You are correct- nothing is ever easy!! I had the same issue with an OBD port not reading, one mechanic gave me some song and dance about it needing a power wire run to it! Ridiculous! I'm no professional, but I think it's an issue with their equipment. Has anyone else experienced this? Love the vid!

I love my Pedalbox. Only 2 issues that were easily fixed. 1....never change modes while driving. 2...dont use the Bluetooth app. Causes throttle issues and engine light. Deleted app and reset code on car. Been at least 6 months and no problems. Fun factor definitely goes up.

@@ocmotivator just never change settings while your foot on the gas then engine light will appear and maybe even go into limp mode. If no issues yet you can use Bluetooth etc just when at the light foot brake change settings only

I bought my Challenger out of state in June. No plates yet. Was a nightmare for me with all the forms I had to get filled out that I’ve never dealt with before. They couldn’t be faxed or emailed to my DOT. They wanted original form. They finally gave me a 95 day temporary sticker. I bought a Durango RT in September from my local dealership and it’s still September and have plates on it already. Still waiting on Challenger SRT plates.

No. But I would recommend to remove it if your car goes to the shop for any issues so the dealer can’t blame it and use it as a reason not to cover you.

I've got a 2018 392 Daytona. It only has sport mode, no track. Were you using it with your factory sport or track mode? Wondering if it would be worth getting for my car. Was thinking of getting the Tazer also. Any opinion on that?

It actually is close to 60k when bought cause I have one. Look at the mustang line. The Challenger line. All old lines. They all make cars that look the same as any high end car. Yes it sucks. But I’m glad they put the scat in widebody form but you certainly pay for it! I could have easily got a demon. But I needed a 4 door daily driver for my 10th month old and I already have 3 other toys including a c8.

I installed a throttle response controller on my 2018 Challenger RT... ran so good for a while, then threw a check engine code, the car wouldn't run and I had to recalibrate the throttle body. I'm afraid to try it on my Scat Pack.

Had it on my Hellcat for 6-7 months no issues at all. I’ll update everyone if anything happens. There are different quality devices out there for sure and I would be careful of lower cost ones or course.

@@just_a5.7 limp mode is when the car won't really accelerate. So I can only go up to 50 mph but it takes a whole. And check engine light and throttle light (lighting bolt)

I don’t think so, just heard from a guy with 148,000 miles on his. It’s always good to try and get an extended warranty if you can for a good price from a reputable company if possible. Otherwise just be prepared for a few repairs here and there. A lot has to do with how you treat and drive it of course too.

Man I have read tons of forums on this same subject. I read some comments that say it's harmful...I have have read some that say it doesn't hurt the car. So I would guess the answer is somewhere in between. Too much of anything is not good. But it is hard not to drive these beast on track or sport mode. I have an '18 T/A 392 and I keep it on sport mode. I just love the sound of the exhaust note and the way it handles.

In my lil opinion leaving it in track all the time will probably cause faster than normal wear on drivetrain. Once you get a lot of eco/ street drive you’ll realize how to have fun in those modes with just using the shifter
