So it really changes the pedal sensitivity, so the normal input (electrically) is calibrated to be "tame". This box changes that electrical input to be higher with less pedal input. Love the video man.

They’re Awesome-I’ve not tried that brand,i have the pedal commander which does the same thing-I’ve put them in all my vehicles over the last few years. I’ve put them in Scat packs, Durango SRT, Hellcat Charger,Toyota Tundra , mustang. They work great in everything and definitely play with the settings-each vehicle has a different sweet spot. It really does make a huge difference. In the 392 engines they are incredible-i tried to talk RacerX into trying it in his Shaker because he said he didn’t think he’d like it-i even told him I’d mail it to him to try for a week. NOW-there were rumors of them throwing your vehicle into limp mode randomly. I had mine on all our vehicles for years and never an issue and rumor was it was happening when people try changing setting while moving. Well-sure enough i accidentally hit the bottom on mine while driving one of my vehicles and it did it-put my truck in limp mode. But no big deal-just pop your negative cab,e off your battery for 30 seconds and reinstall and fixed and never happened again. I’m going to try this brand on my Durango Hellcat when it gets here-but yeah never change the settings while moving-wait for a light and keep a tool with you to pop the negative line off your battery if you go in limp mode. One trick in pickup trucks is to push and hold the traction control button for like a minute until it shuts your stability control off too and then push the tow/haul button and it will mimic these throttle boxes and your throttle will be a lot more sensitive and if you install one of these throttle boxes too and do what i said above it will make your truck scream.

Your first reaction was exactly my reaction when I installed my Pedal Commander on my 22 Charger GT and did what they said not to do right out of the gate....SPORT+ & ALL THE WAY UP! My head and my 15 yr old's head both immediately snapped back into the headrest and we both let out an "OH SH$#" Driving a band new Charger is fun in itself, but driving one with these things is a blast and reminds me of my high school days when I drove a 67 Chevelle Super Sport 396... no lag in that throttle response either! After my wife drove my car, she wanted one for her Murano....it's still fun backing out of the drive way slowly and then stomping on the pedal to see my passengers heads snap back....makes me laugh every time...LOL!

If I were going to get one for my Challenger, it's the one I would go with and are about half the price of pedal commander. Although throttle response is already good on SRT powered cars, and really don't see the point. l can also make adjustments with my diablosport if I want, and don't need to buy anything in addition to that

The throttle response is made slower on the v6 and 5.7. The srts it is a little bit more responsive but still slow. When tuning your car you can change the throttle response with every tune to make it more responsive/consistent. For 300 bucks I hate the pedal commander roar etc. The price is not the only factor I do not care for. Throttle response is enhanced yes but there is now zero throttle control. In racing throttle control comes in somewhere at some point. Having a responsive pedal yet controlable is what you want. Not to mention most people will use this with traction control or esp on and the ecu will simply pull timing and slow you down. Throttle control is absolutely necessary. IT DOESNT MAKE ANY CAR FASTER. I am not saying you said this but I have argued with people saying that it makes your car faster. Kind of annoying. For the ability to spend 80 bucks on a remote tune to simply get timing more solidified and and fuel and air closer to balanced it is truly a waste of money in my opinion for simply a throttle control like this. A tune Update is sufficient enough.

Sak 20012019 great info. I spent a lot of time reading and I may be wrong but the PedalBox will not void a factory warranty but a “tune” almost 100% of the time will. And for $300 this thing is cheap, fun, super easy to install, and super low risk to factory warranty. And I can shut it off anytime I want or remove it in 5 mins. At least that’s what I’ve read. Thoughts?

OCMotivator i understand the warranty thing a lot. It is nice having that cushion. I have heard of ways to get around it like getting the tune and hoping they dont see which works the majority of the time unless something serious needs to be checked. Im any dodge dealer can change the throttle response though. But in the case of the warranty it is an extremely valid point especially for someone with enough power but they want a different throttle feel. For me personally $300 is a big hurdle for a change in throttle feel. That could go towards so many other things. Just my opinion though, to each their own.

I bought my ram sport 1500 with 13000 Miles on it , when I test drove it no Brainer. So I looked a bit after buying truck and noticed a aftermarket exhaust. The biggest thing I noticed was the pedal response. Can cook the back tires, ran 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. I know not a big deal in the car world but fast enough to beat a few things. One problem to be careful with, on interstate after leaving a Harley edition Ford wishing he never tried, my throttle will stick wide ass open. It's happened more than once. As far as I know the Rev limiter is off. Once I had to change lanes just to be rolling up on a car very fast. It comes out of it when you pump breaks, I have been lucky so far and don't want to Push it. It only happens if you floor it quickly. Good video I need to find what the problem is. My truck is a 2018 and there are not many mods out there with out spending a bunch of cash. If any one has heard of this reply if it could be something else. Thanks

Other pedal modifying boxes have a lot of CEL issues. So much so that they cause more problems than they are worth. I have one sitting on the shelve in my shop. How many miles did you leave this product on for, and did it ever throw a CEL?

The scatpacks and hellcats are quite low from the factory the SXT sets higher . I have some ramps I built myself because I don't trust factory built . I had to increase the height of them to be able to barely get underneath the car no problem with other cars I've had .

My R/T Ram had an aggressive calibration on the throttle from the factory. at first I liked it because it felt way more responsive than my previous ram. However after A while I realized that I was getting full throttle at about 60% pedal. and it was dead beyond that. It was also impossible to leave from a stop smoothly. pucker factor was high in the rain as well.

Ya. That’s not good. What I like about this thing is I can adjust it, change modes, or just turn it off and go back to factory. It’s fun at times but if my accelerator was always this way it would get old fast.

Nope. since you're not unlocking the pcm its not considered a "tune" another reason why this is better than doing a tune. I would never want to lose my warranty. It simply unplugs if you dont want it anymore.

I change it all the time. Normal driving around town I'll have it on city in the center control, but on the weekends or when I'm showing the power of the car to people I'll kick it up to sport or sport plus.
