Decibelics is great one man pedal designer. I recently bought his Golden Horse pedal which is the best Klon clone I have come across. Put in front of any head an it does something magical especially in the high distortion. It Also it makes all of my pedals sound like they got sprinkled with magical pixie dust. His work is exceptional.

Just because of the addition of the blend knob on the Angre Swede it became the most useful "chainsaw pedal" IMO. Spares one the need to use a wet-dry pedal in addition to it. great video.

I just bought one of these angry swede the other day because most of the HM-2 pedals for sale I've seen either look really beat up or the owner is selling for an outrageous price. The general internet opinion seems to be that this angry swede is the absolute best HM-2 clone out there. Im really surprised Boss isn't making them anymore since they seem to have such a renewed interest from everything I see online.
@donewithmodernlife3 жыл бұрын
I was very surprised by the Flux Echo. Wasn’t expecting much but wow, it sounds great. It has a very Strymon-type thing going on, very hi-fi. The Angry Swede sounds just like I thought it would. Like a fucking pavement saw.

Love this! You generally have this "metalhead who likes to think out of the box" approach which is very uncommon in pedal demos, so very much looking forward to seeing where this series will go. I'd definitely like to see you try an octaver (e.g. TC Electronic Sub'n'up is great) and see what you can come up with. It can be very interesting with distortion.

Hey Ola, I love that you started this with an hm-2 clone. Definitely not my favorite cloney type pedal. I have tried all of them I know of and The KMA Wurm is the best hands down and it is also a competitor for the reigns even over the original ( that’s not easy to say). They also make other great pedals especially worth taking note of is the Cirrus reverb/delay. It’s amazing. Enrico is an amazing guy. Strongly recommend his stuff for you in the future. He’s in Germany so I doubt it’ll be hard for you to come by his products. Fucking amazing stuff!!!!

Loved that Horizon pedal! Ambient & mellow. - Future pedals? I think you've set the pattern in this video. Boost, distortion, fuzz. Plenty there to go at. Phase, Chorus, Flange, Delay, Reverb. More than enough to keep you going there. Which're bang for your bucks?

What a great idea for new series! May you try to put some ODs and boosts in series in front of different amps? For instance, I noticed that some combinations can be quite cool like Fortin 33 -> MXR GT-OD -> Revv Generator 100p (ch2, blue aggression). This chain gives a really tight sound for 7 or 8 string Djent tone. The same principle may be applied to any other tones.

That delay is so amazing, and listening to your playing and interpretation of the chords and the different sounds combined says it all, you can really write all the modal chords from the E minor scale on a bunch of sticky notes, put them in a hat, and play whatever comes out of the hat and boom you've got the main menu track for an RDR game lol
