Good job on breaking out the sections of the video. I did the Rocktober annual subscription today.

Tube Screamer is a mid-hump drive. In other words, it accentuates the mids and not the bass or treble. Great for driving Fender amps that have a mid-scooped EQ. The cool thing about the mini is that it has the same tone as its big brother just takes less pedalboard space.

I would like to get this pedal but seems it loses some low end. I mean cuts the bass and adds some mids kinda hollow

did you try adjust the tone to try keep it clean at the end?

More just exploring the different tones.

Hi. Is this pedal similar in sound to the TS 808 or the TS 9 ? Thanks

It's similar to both the TS808 and TS9. It's designed to be the smaller footprint version of the Tube Screamer. Though, they all sound slightly different from one another. So the only way to know for sure is to get the three pedals and play them back to back.

I'm not a fan of overdrive because it's a tone killer. Not so with the TS808 Screamer, why I bought the mini. Louie Shelton said he leaves his TS10 (I wish) on all the time. Drive level is low 2-3. Just the way I use mine. It colors the tone alright right into SRV, John Mayer territory. Humbuckers do not work well with Screamers and sound like distortion to me.

Totally agree! The TS808 is great for adding that smooth, natural overdrive without killing the tone. Keeping the drive low really lets you color the sound without it getting too muddy. And you're right-humbuckers can get a bit too heavy with the Screamers, but single coils really shine with them. Sounds like you're dialing in that perfect SRV/Mayer tone!
