this method is absolutely worthless to improve ones pedaling technique, due to the fact that this is on a stationary bike without any need to do balancing. Remember that when beeing out of the saddle, you have to balance your whole bodywheight over the pedals. Another reason is the feedback you get, which makes you correct the pedal stroke immediately, but i highly doubt that this would gain any long term effects on your real bike, when you wouldn't even notice it because you have no big monitor in front of yourself.

Absolutely right. The most important thing to do to be efficient on road. Is to be on the road. There is a lot more to cycling then spin scans, FTP and deep carbon rims.
