If you haven't tried it, stacking a DOD 250 into a BD2 is the most glorious thing imaginable (especially when using a valve amp).

not much, not an essential for me. here i was matching what they had on their '93 boards, no compressor pedals were used.

@@GlennJimenez when it comes to mixing my own music compression is an essential, when mixing pedal partners not so much as i try mix everything to be as transparent as possible i.e. a true representation of the pedal being demoed in regards to pedalboards, it's something i've put on & off my board. it can be nice for certain tones, but for shoegaze it's all about the noise for me, i say go full send, the whole point is for everything to be messed up & noisy, so i don't want compression cleaning everything up, i want everything all over the place!
