Pedals and Effects: Waza Craft Dimension C & Metal Zone by Boss

Yep, you read that right! BOSS’ premium Waza reissue series has extended to the legendary DC-2 Chorus, and the always appreciated but often underrated, BOSS Metal Zone. The Waza DC-2w is an incredibly faithful reissue of the highly coveted DC-2 Chorus. Because of its current presence on the market (BOSS’ 2nd best selling pedal ever!), the update to the Metal Zone was a pleasant surprise, but the Waza DC-2w was completely and totally unexpected.

Great bass with Dimension C had the original back in the day.Will get the Waza Craft DC-2 someday, and the new Metal Zone is pretty cool too.(Which I have the original but who doesn't least mine is almost 20 years old and good as new)

Very, very exciting. I have the [clone] of the DC-2. You can press all 2 buttons on the [clone], which is cool, but I DEFINITELY want this Waza Craft DC-2. As for the Metal Zone, I was actually always a fan, sooooo... definitely gonna get one as well. Super psyched to see Boss continue to make it happen.

Boss has stepped-up-their game. I recently purchased the DD-500 and the Large Display deep-dive editing and ability to customize patches, assign special effects and create any delay sound in your head. Very Impressive. Only thing that is lacking is the Shimmer, everything else is really, really good.

nephilymbass I am sure Oc2w and Sg1w are coming. They are probably tweaking the circuits. I hope on the Oc2w they keep the 1 octave down and lose the two octaves down in favor of a clean octave up. So basically one octave down and one octave Up. Are you listening Boss ?!?! Anyways you can still get an Oc2 on eBay & Reverb. I just got a mint condition Oc2 for $100 !

Dude, just played mother 3 for the first time like 3 months ago. Hit me like a ton of bricks. Earthbound still has my heart, but you can see how they refined and smoothed out the formula into an arguably better game at least from a story telling perspective. Much more intimate instead of just wacky. Dont get me wrong earthbound still has the innocence destroying thing about it.

Turning down the outside of the mids pot on an MT-2 doesn't scoop the mids when the centre part is set just past 12 o'clock - you've actually set the pedal for a slight bump at 200 Hz

What about some clean dimension c on guitar? Sounds good on bass by the way. Boss distortion - St2 powerstack hard to beat for me. Fat and chewy. Use wisely though, as funky people think metal is a bit sad and tragic. All the best from Manchester England.

I definetly think they need to do this. The custom option on the HM2W should just disengage the buffers. This will give the chainsaw grind a more aggressive and unleashed sound. Thats what one of my clones does and it just sounds so clear and sharp!
