"So what is Paris like?" people will ask me. I just direct them to your wonderful videos. They capture the natural beauty, physical ambience and cultural sophistication far better than anything else I've seen. Thanks for sharing your work.

You don't need a car in a big city. I live in Berlin and we don't have a car. I bike, walk, use the bus, use the light rail, and the tram. If worse comes to worse I borrow the in-laws car (today I am lazy and going to do that). I hope to visit Paris someday for the museums and to see the French city-way of life. I would like to see the French countryside more than anything. That would be nice.

Another great video from the collection. I'm your fan, I go to Paris in 2015 and for sure these videos helped me a lot in all the paths in the central and peripheral neighborhoods. Thank you for sharing your videos ... A big hug here in Brazil. Sorry errors used Google Translate.

Uprated, shared. I've really liked the changes I've seen in and around Paris since moving here from the States in '94. I'm in Saint-Denis and the less-cars central part of town is SO MUCH BETTER now. My spouse loves taking an old bike to Paris these days and I'm less active but I really like what I see. It's way, way prettier and more pleasant! Years of planning and a noisy, expensive mess, but the results ... fantastic!

The more beautiful vids i see of Paris, France, the more i feel the urge to go and visit, this beautiful change where pedestrians are the priority and cars second, has also been tried here in my hometown, up here on the central plateau,....Avenue Universidad was a busy two lane east and two lane west street, the east, which passes by the historic downtown lost roadway in favor of sidewalks, park benches and GARDENS,...Thumbs up Mxsmanic and thankin' my buddy slobomotion for the Share!! =)

Oh, I do hear you on that one. When I was first driving in Ohio I pulled onto a road & a guy on a motorcycle went past me, calmly giving me the finger. I silently thanked him & have been super careful ever since. I truly could not see him in broad daylight & obviously wasn't looking carefully enough! I was lucky all I got was that salute & nothing happened. Yeow. My father was an ambulance worker in Hawaii in the '50s & wouldn't even allow my brother to park his motorcycle on the property.

Another great video by you. Thanks. Still too many cars. But in Paris there are many many places to get away from the cars. And you have shown many of them in your videos. I mainly like to go to the Luxembourg Gardens and the Tuileries to get away from the traffic. Or just sit in the cafe on the corner of Rue de Seine and Rue Buci and watch the people.

We were on a drive in France yesterday and the way motorcycles were zigzagging around at super high speeds on the périph was scary. I don't know why they do it. This one guy wasn't even wearing socks, let alone leathers.

I my experience of ten years as a motorcyclist it is the cars who are ignorant of bikes and not the other way around (which is impossible). It is cars who act as if bikes are not there.

Yeah, if you watch the groups of vehicles along the street, you see that scooters and motorcycles are always up in front … because they constantly cut between cars and lanes to sneak ahead. It's illegal but there is no effort made on enforcement. And many scooters are illegally loud, too, but there's no enforcement on that, either.

This, I do hate in Ile-de-France. I witnessed a careless scooter guy smash into a car here for no reason whatsoever and then pick a fight with this totally nice, innocent guy in the car! The scooter guy was TOTALLY in the wrong. Really sad. I hate the way they weave and cut in in traffic, too. It's unsettling! What's the big hurry, anyway? Oh, well.

I was watching the scooters intensely. With all of the road-rage in the US the scooters would not have a chance. People in the US would kill the scooter drivers because they wouldn't be paying attention (or the worse excuse didn't see them). It annoys me how the scooter drivers here in the video drive but I have lost the urge to play chicken with them (plus it is not fair I am in a metal enclosed tank). The only thing annoys me is that they should follow the rules but if they don't they pay.
