Great video! I love Saunders comprehensive NCLEX review as well. I will graduate with my RN-BSN in May and I have consulted your videos throughout nursing school! I think the hardest part about Peds is just thinking about the developmental stages with each question!

Our school hates us. They crammed Mens Health, Womens health, Prenatal, OB, Postpartum , an all of Pediatrics in one class for one semester for LPN! They called it Growing Family. Accelerated is the worst. And thanks to COVID we were shortened 4 weeks!!

Hello Maribel :) Yes, absolutely this could also apply to NCLEX because the exam may cover childhood illnesses/vaccinations etc. and ask about common nursing interventions, parent teaching, signs and symptoms. Great question!

Yes, definitely you can use Saunders....however, since you will be using an older edition just make sure it matches any updates in your textbook and what you professors is teaching in class. Usually the differences between editions vary slightly but you can save a lot of money using them.

Yes, I can relate but more on the adult spectrum. However, I think peds is a little more intense because they are so fragile and it happens rapidly. It takes a special nurse to do what you do, and I thank you for what you do because you are the one I depend on if anything ever happened to my precious boy.
