Gay here, and fully agree. If we aren't able to drink, smoke, get tattoos, or plastic surgery under the ages of 18-21 (Canadian here), why has it become okay to inflict irreversible changes on young bodies in this case? There's nothing wrong with an adult doing whatever it is that they want to do, that's their prerogative, and hopefully they've done enough thinking and research to avoid jumping in blind. But children? If a kid can't decide what kind of ice cream flavour they want, I'm not sure it's necessarily wise to trust them to make such a life-altering decision as transitioning obviously is. Just flabbergasted.

Decreased IQ (puberty blockers cause a greater decrease in IQ than lead poisoning did in children of the 60s). If the children go on to cross-sex hormones and their genitals don’t fully develop, they will be infertile, and they risk never having the ability to orgasm. There’s also the long-term risks of cross-sex hormones, which include increased risk of cardiovascular disease, heart attack, stroke, and venous thromboembolism. They also have a higher risk of pancreatitis (an emergency and potentially fatal condition), gall bladder disease, and diabetes. This is what giving children a lifelong hormone disorder does to them.

This argument is every bit as pseudo-scientific as claiming that gender and sex are social constructs. I'd advise you to look into endochrine disrupting chemicals, or EDCs for short (eg microplastics, chemical birth control waste products in women's urine, etc) which completely lace our food and water supplies and the myriad of ways they cause havoc to the human body - be it crashing t-levels in men, skyrocketting rates of early-onset puberty in girls and emerging studies which suggest that EDCs can mess with the development of the human brain by masculinising the brain structures of girls and feminising the brain structures of boys. As an extreme example of what EDCs can do, I'd also encourage you to ready up on how the dumping of a pesticide called Atrazine into a wetlands, caused an entire population of frogs there to undergo chemically-induced sex changes. That is to say nothing of how the standard medical practice for responding to intersex baby boys, was to perform infant gender reassignment surgery on them. Let me put it this way, imagine if hypothetically, some mad scientist abducted you,removed your brain and successfully transplanted it into a body of the opposite sex. When you woke up, felt like you were in the wrong body and felt like your sex was completely the opposite of what the sex of your current body was, would that be a "delusion" on your part too, or would it be your brain rightly recognising that its sex and the sex of the rest of your body, were completely different? Oh and as a brief aside for any Christians reading this, who are familiar with Deuteronomy 18:10, the Greek word for "sorcery" is "pharmakeia", which is where the word "pharmacology", is derived from - where EDCs is a pharmacological term. We should absolutely be refraining from giving children puberty blockers or gender-reassignment surgery, to dismiss gender dysphoria as "just mental-illness", "playing pretend" or as you put it "[a] delusion" is every bit as counter-productive an argument as that of the social constrictionists.

Not only that, but as of my aunt myself, and my mom became somewhat jealous of her new smoothness because she just looks like a woman that has small breasts at the end of the day. No back pain!!!! She did not do reconstruction because she’s in her 70s. We have larger breasts aaaandtheyre really Not great for too much from running to fitting in clothes properly. The only stuff she can’t wear now are deep V neck shirts!!! It did not affect her being a woman even a little bit and that’s part of why she didn’t get a reconstruction. She didn’t want to follow the concept that her breasts were what made her a woman. There is a whole flat chest movement going on in relation to that + implant sickness and other issues and complications reconstruction often brings that many feel pressured into.

I know a so-called "trans woman". He was a big guy, but not fat. Husky and athletic. Probably weighed about 260 lbs. Had his sex change in his mid 20s. He's now around 35 years old, over 420 lbs, can hardly walk on his own, had to have his gallbladder removed, and is now suffering liver failure. But he got himself a right perdy set o boobies and a nice cameltoe. There's no way pumping hormones into your body is good for you. Homey almost died in the hospital.

I seriously wish I could see my vet for my health care; I sure wouldn't get blown off for being an hysterical attention-seeking wackjob for decades only to find out, in my late 50s, that I have a weird genetic condition. My dog has a very rare type of epilepsy (TLE, temporal lobe epilepsy), & I dreaded taking him to my vet almost 7 years ago, b/c I expected to get blown off the way docs blow me off. I described his seizures, which look like severe panic attacks, & she just nodded & said something like "yes, those are rare but very real. Let's try this medicine to prevent the seizures." It did. People with this type of TLE average 15-20 years of being called crazy & sent to shrinks before some doc with a functioning brain figures it out. And doctors only have to deal with one species!

I have family that are nurses, paramedics, doctors, etc. One of the major issues they have with dealing with a trans person who will not answer or identify their birth sex, is that sometimes their treatment will not work or needs done a lot differently. How in the world are they supposed to help a biological young lady who identifies as a male, maybe had transition surgery, if they have, say a ovarian growth and yet they say they are not female and won't let you run the appropriate tests, etc. It's ridiculous and the patient can have major issues as a result. This is the second time humans were put on a sterilization program in North America. The first one was a eugenics program in the 1920's and 30's and was the example for the Nazis to do it in Germany. It was the medical establishent then, in particular the psychiatrists and eugenists, and it is again them now. Every person that goes trans is effectively sterilized once they commit to their genitals being removed, even if they reverse the procedure they're still sterilized as what is put back is a false organ. The thing is these hormonal drugs are NOT FDA-approved for the purpose of transitioning, neither is cross-sex hormone use in supra-physiological doses. It’s all off-label prescribing. While doctors are permitted to prescribe drugs off-label, IMO it’s suspicious and certainly frowned upon when it’s schedule 2 & 3 *controlled substances* such as testosterone being RXed off-label. Only med I’ve ever really seen prescribed off-label is Trazodone to treat insomnia due to its side effect of sleepiness, but it’s also frequently used in veterinary medicine as a sedative for anxious dogs. Veterinarians know better than the gender borg! They warn not to get dogs neutered/spayed too early (before 6 months) because it can negatively affect their growth and development with joint problems, etc. The funny thing is my dog humps stuffed animals even though he’s neutered, you can’t eliminate male instincts. We see this in the trans activists who exhibit very male-typical aggression.

Anyone with a psychology or medical education can see from a mile away that what we are doing to children is horrific. As someone that has to take full TRT and Thyroid hormone replacement due to cancer, I can say through my own experience that playing with hormones that are naturally regulated by your body is one of the worst things you can do for your overall health...namely the mental health. People that haven't gone through hormone issues don't realise just how much your endocrine system pilots every other system in the body. Eg: You give a small girl TRT for gender therapy which results in unnatural imbalance so her thyroid tries to rebalance the hormones to natural levels, which in turn results in thyroid burnout and autoimmune thyroid deficiency, which then results in low stomach acid, poor kidney function, overburdened liver function, poor heart health, adrenaline resistance...and the list goes on...just from giving a girl something she is not meant to have according to her DNA (should be obvious enough though)

The travistock clinic has been closed, even before the cass review was published. My brother was homeschooled, the state has programs specifically for homeschooled kids to connect and take classes with other kids in their homes. My father taught my brother and another young man in the area being homeschooled as well, carpentry as a tech education class. My brother and that other boy became good friends. It's not the homeschooling that causes issues with antisocialism, it's the lack of work and awareness of the parents who choose to do it and end up not doing it properly. The state has guidelines and a curriculum to follow and then also provides resources for shared classes of other students being homeschooled in your area. Don't blame homeschooling, it's a VERY convenient option if the parent/parents are able to do so. And save the kids getting gender and sexual identity forced on them when they should just be on a playground having fun

Way back in the 1940's one of my cousins was a classic tomboy. She beat all the boys at schools playing marbles and she was more interested in baseball and her dogs than dresses and makeup. The DID thing has always confused me. When I was an adolescent if you had a "new personality" in your head it was a creative thing. We called it an OC (original character). We would draw them and make up stories, we were using our imaginations. What has happened to kids where they believe their imaginations are actually some other person in their heads😢

Biological sex is important. Everytime I go to a new doctor I tell them I’m a trans man, because I still need pap smears etc. it’s not the end of the world. In fact the doctors need to know biology for proper treatment.

Yup. *Sex* is immutable. Gender is a societal construct, as evidenced by centuries or miliennia of other cultures having more than 2 *genders* .

It's important indeed. It's unfortunate that the need to medically distinguish people based on their genetics and physiology is also being used as a wedge to take away people's rights to self expression and bodily autonomy.

It shouldn't take a doctor or any type of scientific studies to know that this shouldn't be done to children. It should be COMMON SENSE! 🙄😢

On the one hand some people claim that traditional gender roles are invalid while on the other hand they use those gender roles to define how people should be "modified". You can't have both. Either they are invalid or they're not.

As a parent of a 13 year old girl, my question is "where are the parents?" We are supposed to be front line defense for our children, and some parents just handed that responsibility over! I have lost all trust in our medical industry and stopped getting the vaccinations on my daughter when she was 5! Individual's who say they are in the wrong body have a mental condition. They need to be handled with care and love, but you don't affirm them! Our society has lost it's freaking mind! I took my daughter out of public school several years ago and I am now home schooling her.
