Too bad the research was not done accurately on which actors were playing the emperors. Emperor Caracalla is played by Fred Hechinger and Emperor Geta is played by Joseph Quinn. CBS hung the interviewer out to dry by not updating the information.

It was the other way around when casting was announced quinn was revealed to caracalla so they probably had this written a while back

I don't know all these actors. Im glad the director was smart enough to add a big name like Denzel Washington to attract movie goers like me. Otherwise I wouldn't even look at it. I never watched the first movie. So I wouldn't be interested on 2nd had it not been Denzel.

Actually, the movie studio execs were the ones who said they needed some stars after Ridley Scott chose his leading man, a young and relatively unknown rising star. So Denzel Washington was then approached, and Pedro Pascal (of The Mandalorian fame) was later added. Barry Keoghan was initially signed, but had to drop out due to his schedule.
