Seeing the whole process in one go was very enjoyable ! I didnt pay attention before but there is several intern exchange and a lot of strategy to beat Whitney ! Gold used items, TM, stat drop, status, think about the Miltank moveset and type advantages !!! He became a good trainer thanks to her ! Very cool to watch, I hope he dont stomp all the other gym leader, but I know the other are a lot weaker than Whitney...

But Pedro Araujo makes these series based on all the lore with a few changes such as making the trainers 16 rather then 10-12. Hell, for all we know Blue ended with Leaf as his girlfriend in his version of the lore or even making Lucas (trainer from Diamond and Pearl) girlfriend either be Dawn, Candice, or he might make a poll on who he should end up with. For all we know, we might see a Chris cameo in the Sonic Adventure series due to Chris and Sonic X being popular in Japan.

I do have a question about this going forward? After Morty the games levels plateau in the mid 30s because of it opening up and you could challenge different gym leaders in any order even the Rockets stay in that level range. So my question is do you have any intention of modifying any of the gym leaders or rocket executive teams to be more imposing for later in the Journey?

rocket executive yes (and eusine will be a villain too) but gym leaders order will stay the same in their cities
