I performed in Elvira's show at Knott's Scary Farm a few years back and we had a few celebrities come through to watch. Paul Reubens was the only one who came back stage to greet all the staff and performers after the show and even took pictures with us! He is a super sincere and sweet person.

It's worth mentioning that not everyone has time to go back stage and do photos and meet people. They aren't jerks or snobs or 'care less' but they have done a full show (so.. you saw them during the show right?) and then they have all kinds of obligations, they also have things like makeup, changing, showers, fielding calls from their kids, divorce lawyers or maybe doing an interview. So you don't need to say "..the only one.." like that as if there was just one guy who cared.
@amusement420 Жыл бұрын
@@televisualfreedom4024 Carmen Electra was at Kings Island amusement park inducted into their performers Hall of Fame a number of years ago. She had been a dancer. She was very friendly, down-to-earth unpretentious all smiles greeting anyone and everyone. Her husband was taking pictures like anyone visiting the park would do happy to be there enjoying the time. Just like you know normal people ; ) I've been around a number of performers. When it's show time or in front of the cameras it's an act what they do to make a living. Behind-the-scenes just regular people. Often times goofier.

Paul was a very underrated dude and he had a lot of range. That shit with the adult theater really dinged his career, though, as well as his appearance as Pee-wee in that drug PSA, but I honestly couldn't give a damn about any of that, the guy was so funny, so humble and an all around cool person who wasn't afraid to be himself and entertain to the best of his ability even when he knew he was dying.
