At 2:38, 39 it looks like you have sewn, crocheted two sides together. It is before crocheting a sc across and chaining 8. Is there a step missing?

These are so cute. I made one but the width of the side/bottom barely goes beyond the bottom of my foot. I'd need to add like 20 more chain stitches to make it fit. Not sure what happened.

Did you complete a gauge Swatch before starting? Or my foots a little skinny, lol. To save your slipper, add a row or two around the opening of your slipper

for a size 10 would be it wide enough because my sister has very wide feet..lol

If they are wide, I would suggest following the same pattern. But when you're done, add a row or 2 around the slipper opening
