Peek-A-Boo Earrings

Materials Needed:
*2 - (12mm) Rivoli’s
*1 Gram 15/0 Miyuki Seed Beads
*1 Gram 11/0 Delica Bead
*1 Pair of Ear Hooks
*1 Size 12 Beading Needle
*2 yards 6lb Fire Line or One G Thread

Kelly, love these earrings; however, I'm not a big fan of the ring of beads for the wires to go through. Do you think using a wire guardian would be strong enough to hold? I don't think I have seen anyone do this and just wondered why.

i am the same way i prefer the wire guards and i use them in place of beads on all of the earring projects without any issues at all. you just need to reinforce the same as you would with beads.

I often use French wire that a person can sew through, either that or the wire guardian make beautiful hangers.

I wish my local bead store even knew what rivoli was - much less sell them! Anything like that I have to order from you! It's pathetic that all we have are the bead areas in the craft stores or Walmart!
