I have a TYM T474 (47HP) 2000lb bucket lift. pound for pound you can't get a better tractor. It has more accessories upgrade straight out of the box that other brand you have to add after you buy it. my dealer is 45 minutes away. I love it.

I recently purchased a TYM 574 55 HP Hydro from Zimmerman Equipment in New Castle VA. about 20 hard hours on it now and Love it so far. I was very impressed with the simplicity of the Kukje diesel engine on this machine. Totally mechanical injection. It only has about 6 electronic sensors that are not critical to the tractor functioning. It is extremely comfortable and easy to operate. This is the fourth tractor I have owned.

I love my 2023 2515H. Just did my 50 hour service on it. I got mine with the backhoe, loader, pallet forks, grapple, brushhog, box blade and 5 ft tiller out the door for right at 32K. 25 HP has met all of my needs. Each persons situation is different, but I deffinately feel that the TYM brand is well worth considering.

We got our T25 from there around February or March with a backhoe. Have loved it so far with no issues. Coming up on 30 hours. Only knock so far is I would say is getting a part issue. I like you have a Kubota BX. But I've got a larger 5 series Kioti RX as well. Before buying the Kioti, I was intending to buy a TYM 754. The only reason that I didn't buy it was because the Kioti salesman that I had been talking to was more persistent and better at his job than the TYM salesman was. I love my Kioti, but I have zero doubts that I'd have loved the TYM just as much. TYM makes a good product, and as you got into a little bit, compare the FEL and 3pt lift capacities on any model TYM to an equally sized Kubota, and you'll be impressed by how much more the TYM will lift. The people that talk about service and parts issues, are either speaking from experience when Corona crap was going on for the last few years, and have experience with the problems that that created, or they're just ignorant. Getting parts for any South Korean made tractor IS NOT an issue any longer, unless the dealer decides not to carry them in their inventory because a large parts inventory can be expensive. But there is no issue getting parts sent from South Korea any longer. That's just on each individual dealer as to how expansive their parts inventory is. Whether you buy a new, larger tractor, or can establish a partnership with one of the tractor manufacturers, I think you'd really be happy with having a second tractor. Especially two different series (size) tractors. I love having both a SCUT and a utility tractor. They both absolutely have their place and uses, and I'd hate to have to part with either one of them. Also, with almost 40K subscribers, you're gaining a pretty large audience. I would ENCOURAGE you to reach out to some of the tractor manufacturers, and see if you can work something out with them. Why not get a tractor that you don't have to pay for in dollars and cents??? If you can work out an arrangement with one of them and all it costs you is some video content, why wouldn't a person consider that? Just a thought Bud.

I got a used with low hours(80) branson 2515h for significantly less than a new 1025r/BX, etc. Nearly 3x the lift capabilities vs the sub compacts is what really sold me on it. It is a beast for what it is at only 25hp. It needs a LOT of ballast to keep from lifting the rear. With filled tires and a box blade it will still easily lift the back tires. It may need filled tires and over 1,000lbs on the 3pt to be properly ballasted. I have seen some people mention front axle seal issues, which is probably from not having enough ballast. It will be interesting to see what you end up with. Good to see you may keep the BX, it is the channel icon at this point, lol.

I haven’t driven one, but have heard good things about TYM. However, 25hp on a machine that heavy with a hydrostatic transmission seems likely to bog down easily in pulling or climbing hills. I have a 25hp tractor about that size from the early ‘80s with gear drive. It runs out of traction before power, unless you have a load on the PTO and are driving uphill. Gear drive will out-pull a hydro all day every day. Consider, my machine has 23.26hp at the PTO based on the Nebraska test. A hydro 25hp tractor probably makes 18-20hp at the PTO, plus puts less power to the ground via the drive wheels. If all you want to do is lift heavy things, the low power machine can work… but it may be limited for other tractor work, particularly with PTO implements.

Bud I ask you to consider one thing before going tym. I'm a BX and L tractor owner myself. Both are over 10 years old. I challenge you to find a TYM owner with a 10 year old machine and either ask him directly which parts he has needed and which parts are available. We buy these machines to hopefully work for us on small farms and homesteads for well over the warranty period and we accept that under the idea we can still get parts 15-20 years. My 13 Year old mower deck for my BX was an oddball deck that failed in almost a catastrophic fashion after 900 hours and while I did have to order and wait on parts, they were available. It's not about parts availability for the tractors made in the last 5 years. It's about getting those parts 10-15 years from new. Love your videos but don't get me started on parts availability for my 1952 Ford 8n that I can still get just about any parts for. Longevity of support is what I find in Kubota. Deere was good but they got greedy and woke. Plus I have several Kubota manufacturing plants in my great state of GA that employ many folks. Not just assembly either. Real manufacturing here with Kubota.

I have a tym 474. Im in Michigan. My priorities when buying it was being able to lift my 1500 pound round bales, having hydrostat so my wife would drive it, and having a heated cab for the winter. I had an open station massey before that I loved, but TYM was $18000 less money for a cab tractor than massey, john deere, or anyone els. If I trade tractors again, I will get 24 inch rear rims. THere is much larger selection of tires available in 24 inch rims for more liquid ballast capacity. THis tym is a little clunky. THe rear remote levers, like he said, are very short, and awkward to operate. My range selector doesnt move smoothly. The 3 point lever inside the cab is short and too close to the seat. Like I said, the tractor is a little clunky, but for the money, it does everything I want it to do. Im happy with it overall.

I still think you should go with the hydros plus lift cylinders for the loader. You’d be able to do so much more with out changing much on the tractor or having to add anything before you do a task. Another part of me thinks since you own 38 acres you should probably already have a larger frame tractor. Some thing that helps with those bigger jobs and keeps you from putting tons of hours and stress on the little BX. I’ve seen most of your videos and love the hell you put your BX through, but I often wonder when you’re gonna upgrade. If TYM offers you a killer deal on a larger frame tractor I’d take it. Tons of videos to be made on that alone. Keep the content rolling buddy

Thanks for the info. I'll stick to my Kubota thanks. With the full coverage KATC insurance, that covers everything "bumper to bumper". A bit more comprehensive than a 2yr warranty. Plus Kubota makes all their own parts, whereas I think TYM engines are made my Yanmar (S Korea). My dad's L175 is almost 50 yrs old, and it is still going strong. No telling how many hours that thing has as it has rolled the hour meter several times. I wound up going with the Kubota L2502 (partly due to the non-computerized engine with standard emmisions - no regen). I did pay more for a similar sized Kubota, but with 0% interest financing, it wasn't a big issue. I don't have any experience with the TYMs personally, but I know of at least two around where I live that are less than 10 yrs old sitting dead in the weeds. Not sure why. The price and lift capacity are tempting, but...... for 99% of what I do with a tractor, my Kubota fits my needs well.
@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead
@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead Ай бұрын
I need to find out if TYM has an insurance like that. I know there are some insurance agencies that offer good coverage. TYM has had competitive financing too. What gets me is the fact that you have to spend over $40k to get a Kubota that will lift over 2k pounds. You can do it with TYM for half the price. That’s a pretty big deal. I am giving them a strong look….🤷🏼‍♂️

@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead I totally understand. I bought mine to last me my lifetime (an investment), and be capable of accomplishing most of my needs, as should you. I don't need to lift that much weight with my loader very often. If I can't lift it, I drag it, and if I can't drag it, I leave it. Those to avoid due to huge political differences and even foe, is anything Chinese and avoid Indian companies such as Mahindra and Sonalika.

I think a lot of people who like to put the TYM tractors down should do research on them beforehand. TYM is not new to building tractors. They may not have been doing it as long as some of the others, but they've been doing it since 1951. It's odd that people think these are just junk tractors that you can't get parts for. That is just ignorant thinking. They need to consider that the U.S. isn't the only country that farms. In fact, most other countries have been doing it a lot longer than we have. Which means they depend on these tractors and equipment to get the job done and last just as much as we do. For many of them it is their livelihood, and not just a hobby farmer. They really NEED the equipment to be reliable, and it is. I've been hard on my T574 moving trees and whatnot well beyond it's lift capacity, and it has gotten the job done without a single issue. TYM is not going away. They will still have parts available well into the future. It's the big name brands everyone needs to be concerned about with them shipping all the jobs off to other countries. Yeah, TYMs are manufactured in South Korea, but guess what...Kioti is a South Korean company as well just like LS. They do have an assembly plant in Georgia however. Kubota, John Deere, and Kioti are all overpriced. Not saying they are bad they have just gotten full of themselves over the years, and they will charge whatever people are willing to pay. If I were to look at buying another tractor I'd be going with a Deutz. They have a really nice 80hp tractor for a very reasonable price with a loader, 4wd, and 4 wheel brakes which as far as i know no other tractor manufacturer has.

I considered TYM, and went to their website to get pricing info. Went through the "Build your own" just like I did with Kubota and RK Tractors so I could compare. Got to where the price should be and the only option is fill in a contact form to request a quote. No thank you. You do not need my personal info just to give me a price. No company does.

So you would spend $15k more for a different brand because they put prices on a website? Not sure I follow that logic. You can’t buy any of them without talking to a dealer. 🤷🏼‍♂️

True, but I can get pricing online without giving some idiot salesman a chance to spam call me. And unless the TYM that I was looking at is only $8,000 with the bucket and backhoe attachments and turf tires, they aren't $15,000 cheaper.

Keep the BX for sure. It can still get into places that the bigger one can’t. This sounds weird but, one of the biggest reasons I bought my B2601 and not anything else is for the color. I love orange. There is better tractors in the B size out there but I didn’t like the color. Sounds stupid but it is what it is.

I've been looking at the Summt TX25 because it's FULLY LOADED that are options on most other tractors... but it just seems a bit small. They've been advertising coming out with a 35HP the last 2 years... but so far... nothing. Does the TYM have loaded tires?

Kubota is a reliable hard working tractor but their compact tactors are too light in the chassis and their fel capacities are seriously lacking, not to mention Kubota nickel and dimes their buyers on features that come standard on Korean models. I can buy a TYM tractor for 5-10 thousand dollars less which allows for two to four more implements!

It's clear you are smarter than most. But I went to two different tym dealers who flat out told me they will not be carrying the tym tractor anymore because of parts and service issue. They both said it was a good tractor but parts and service was such an issue they could no longer put there name behind them. These were reputable dealers. Bottom line you make a comment " I've seen all the comments " but you have never owned one or dealt with there parts or service in a real world situation. If these dealers could remain profitable and had no issues They would not be eliminating them from there fleet. You make KZbin videos They make a living in parts, sales and service of tractors Do your research " not just talking to your buddies " and you will find tym has a real issue they are trying to fix

@@user-vo6me5er9n My point, a TYM is a TYM unless it's not. Also we have had three different TYM dealerships in the past ten years with periods of none. NO TYM dealers had decent service facilities. Why would anyone purchase a tym tractor 🤔I don’t know perhaps it might be the 15000 to 20000 in savings to get a more capable tractor 🤷‍♂️perhaps it’s the fact that tym is investing in the United States companies like John Deere are running from the United States down to Mexico, laying off employees having rainbow parties, not letting people work on their own equipment due to proprietary information. at the end of the day, the last time I checked, this is America. Why we still have some of the freedoms we’re supposed to you have the freedom of choice many things are no longer 100% American built. Certainly tractors are high on that list of things not produced 100% in America anymore. This is a fact. I think it wise to support the American workers not American companies at this point. Ps for the trolls this of course is a general statement. Buy the tractor or any product that makes sense to you people it’s a global economy now.
