I really prefer peel and stick. Especially since I have learned how to apply it without air pockets. And with most peel and stick it can easily be taken down. The new patterns are awesome as well. Also those 3D patterns, love them. Can actually be a focal point for a wall. They are gorgeous

That Poly wall is a game changer especially for those of us that are interested in tiles for the kitchen where the paint is usually too thin for stick+ peel.
@desireechoate75832 жыл бұрын
That was a really nice reveal. Tbh I was a lil doubtful about you doing the whole wall like that because you’d have two different whites contrasting. But by just doing a section of it customized to highlight your work area really brought the room to life. It’s really fun how you have different moods adjacent to each other. It’s adds character, interest, and aesthetic beauty. Very well done 👏

This is great. I own my house and I am going to do this. I like to change things up and I have PTSD from the previous owners 1980’s wallpaper border. It took so much work to get that mess off the walls. This is amazing and will be great for an accent wall that I can change up if I want. Your ideas are genius. I love it.

Really cool hack, however I really cannot pay that much for the plaster sheet and I will need a lot of them. I use something a lot cheaper..... Poster board. Walmart have poster board that is 0.33 each, a little weak, but get the job done. I tape three together long way with clear package duct tape, apply the wall paper then attach it to the wall using gorilla double sided tape. When applying the tape, attach it long enough so you can easily attach the next panel to it. Line everything up as if I was applying it straight to the wall. Can't tell the difference. The good thing about this is you can use anything you want too. Peel and stick wall paper, pasted wall paper just use your imagination. You can also use foam boards which are thicker, but I'm on a budget, the poster board work fine for me, so I'm ok with it. Good Luck!

I like this idea, but I thought it would be difficult to adjust the contact paper if I mess up applying it on cardboard. I think long term the poly wall is better.
@yvettebarnett46783 жыл бұрын
@@Waynaworld I thought so too when I first tried it. I'm not having issues. By it is peel and stick that could be why I had issues before

This is freaking amazing! I caught the decorating bug and decided to fix up my room and bathroom. The thing is I live kn an apartment and we can’t paint. I went online to look for peel and stick wallpaper and was disappointed in how expensive it can be, and that the peel and stick doesn’t always work…and some of them aren’t even cute…now I can buy some actual wallpaper I like! Thanks for the awesome idea

That came out really nice. And it gives your work area a defined space. Did you nail the shelves back in the original anchors? If so I would like to know what you did to locate them once you installed the wall paper.
@justbeingme-833 жыл бұрын
You did that 🔥💯. But I guess my question is when you remove the wallpaper off, will it pull the paint off on the original color? Maybe I need to watch it over n over to get it.
@TrinaRaysTrekofLife3 жыл бұрын
She didn't glue the wallpaper to the wall. The "hack" starts at 2:34 She bought a "poly wall" and tacked that to the wall. (So just a few tiny nail holes.) So when it's time to move or change it out, you just take the poly wall down and your original wall is unmarked, except for the few tiny nail holes to fill in. 🤗 I know your comment is 2 months old, but I hope this helps. 🤣🤣 Great hack!! I probably wouldn't have thought of that!!
