Glass fronted cabinets work great to keep the dust off, and make it so you have to really think about it to put something there too. Part of me getting rid of my boxes was to buy two of them. Of course now I have pretty boxes full of ?? On the shelves. It takes a long time and never really ends, this is a good start for you, less dust now, more space to move around and for the doggos.

I love all the displays you have (also revisiting dr. Who) ! And love all the determination & progress! You're doing so much and great work! Some space ideas, maybe instead of having the bookshelf, have a small dresser on bottom & then use the wall space to hang a gallery wall w/lighter frames like ikea & those small wall shelves to display figurines. Makes it more accessible & less bulk then a whole shelf. Just an idea for less shelves for dust to gather but love what you're doing.

It depends on how you’re feeling on what order you go in. You don’t want to get overwhelmed/stimulated that will cause you to spiral down. You’ve been doing such an amazing job at what you’ve accomplished. For me I’d go with the bookcase.

I agree with this! I also think you should “complete” the living room. It’s your main living space so there is always something to pick up. But if you can get everything out that no longer belongs there and clean up all the shelves and behind all the furniture you’ll have a lot more space physically and mentally to move on to other rooms.

So good that you're doing this. I have done a first run through of my house. So it is not so massively cluttered. But now I am down to what for me is the hard stuff. I moved 12 times by the time I graduated from High school. So, right now I have a bunch of electronics and cords and cables etc. Until I figure out what goes to what I am paranoid about giving any away or throwing them out. I have a butt ton of photos that I need to scan and make sure I have copies of the thumb drives so I never lose them. I have tons of frames but until I finish painting and decorating I don't want them to go away because I plan on using most of them.... You get the idea. One earring I am holding onto because surely the other will show up as I go...lol

The seasonal decor looks great. Love the pop of colors. Fall is in the air and pumpkins are everywhere. Looks really nice. Love the puppy pictures too. You are amazing. Soon you will know what you have and where it is. today I fiber glassed the floor repair in the camper we are renovating. Tonight am taking a shower and getting lounge PJ on and going to do bathrooms, dishes, put things way and run vacuum cleaner. So tomorrow we start on outside of camper. Doing Dremel, then filler and sand all the crack on outside. Get her ready for primer coat. You keep me going. Love your videos by the way you have very pretty eyes. The bookcase turned out so nice. I like how you laid it out with a few pictures, a few Dr. Who dolls and then the fall decor. Now you really notice each thing. I'm looking forward to the next video. In our house that box of cords managed to make it's way into my husbands office. I highly doubt he's looked at it. It's been in our basement for at least 10 years and I would have liked to have just pitched it but I wouldn't do that since I know he wants to look at it first.

I had a couple of little Christmas trees sitting on my mantle since 2019 and had totally forgotten about them. one of my kids asked me that that stuff was hanging off the edges of the branches and I told her it was Spanish Moss

That shelf is so beautiful now! I love your Fall decor items. You have a good eye for arrangement. Regarding all the things that you have "somewhere", I'm in that same boat. I have been steadily decluttering for 2 years and there is definitely much less inventory in my home, but I'm struggling with finding a place for everything. I've decided to try Dana's method of asking myself, "If I wanted to find this, where would I look first?" to start assigning homes to items. I've also decided I do need two of somethings so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs (scissors, basic tools, etc). Thanks so much for the posts!
