What is that "rake" looking thing called that you use when cleaning the heat exchanger? Google search hasn't been of any help. I am guessing that I am not searching the right terms. Thanks for your videos Steven. They are excellent!

What was that meter you were using to check the flame @ 17:30? Thanks for the video.
@kristindell2676 жыл бұрын
It measures the draft over the flame, a good draft ensures proper combustion and keeps the carbon monoxide level in check.

Why is the oil line always coiled in a loop by the burner, is that code in your state or something?
@davetanis44958 жыл бұрын
That makes sense. It's weird cause I see it in every video, I've worked on hundreds of oil burners and never seen it once. I'm from northern New Jersey.
@mathewbetcher96638 жыл бұрын
The service mans loop, it's a sweet peachy thing that only courteous mechanics do. It seems where Steve is most of the oil systems are not half bad. I see some real catastrophes in Long Island

Just in case, over the year's any end & connection gives up the ghost and needs replacement, you have enough copper to overcome.
