CANCER HAS WON IT'S GAME OVER
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I say this, my recent surgery showed each site was cancerous with no margins. Stains showed mass deposits all over my left side and back, with deep deposits towards internal organs.
Time frame is irrelevant now, I do not want to tell anyone what is expected to happen now, until I am ready.
I should explain for people I was told to enjoy the next two weeks as after that they expect me to be to sick to enjoy life.
I am still going to have my samples tested in the hope we can save a life in the future, I will do everything in my power to make that a reality! We will all continue the research!
My family and I knew this day would come, but it has come faster than any one expected, my team are fighting for me to try everything possible, but my body is failing fast, I can feel it and we all know it.
No one should have to go through this mental and physical pain in this day and age. I will now be documenting the end of my life, my fight, my struggle in the hope that I can make people smile, laugh and spread some joy around the world.
In the less than 0.01% chance I manage to beat this, I will spend the rest of my life helping others in horrific situations, cancer is just one awful thing that affects people!
I will leave you with this, smile, laugh and see the beauty in everything everyday, make the most of being able to be you, but most of all never regret anything! Make every day count, because like me you may wake up unable to continue to do what you love.
My dreams are just that now, dreams, white clouds in the sky that I will never reach.

There is litterally no research into this type so it's important to me, to document everything and record it all, so that if something can be done and someone spots it, we have that added bonus!

Same here, but I think thats for a reason guys… I think it’s super important for us to watch this kind of thing, and really take it in. You know sit with it for a minute, and think about yourself in his shoes. It’s a scary, yet beautiful thing all at the same time. We only have a very small amount of time here as whoever we currently are. In that time it’s best to make connections, be appreciative, be thankful, give your last breath to each and everyone you meet if given the chance. Leave a lasting impact, hopefully start a family, live, thrive, and embrace this thing that we can’t even begin to fathom or frame in our minds because its an impossible puzzle to try and solve. Yet one day, inevitably the puzzle solves us, and we are no more. Where we go? I don’t really know. I do believe that we will open eyes again, I just know it won’t be with our current eyes, but a new conscious experience like it was the first time all over again. Whether that’s on this plain of existence or another, or even a different dimension, or galaxy. I lost my son to cancer, he passed in 2018 when he was 30, he was a scientist ( physicist ) Watching my son suffer was indescribable. No parent should ever have to go through this, there is not a day goes by when he is my thoughts We all miss him so much. Just writing this, the tears still well up. My sister was only 18 im pretty sure when she got leukemia. And it was scary for my parents to see their daughter. 20 years old now on the hospital bed, the bloody nose was none stop and would not clot up and she would have to taste blood and at a point throw up blood my parents said. It was so scary for them. Her left brain was mostly effected and couldn't move her right side of her body and barely left side. Anyways she got better through those months but yeah. Now 20 years old on the bed dying. On constant morphine meaning she was constantly tired. I was 13. I'm 15 now. Turned 15 this April 4th. I don't cry much but I hugged her and she'd a few tears but she hugged me back even though she could barely move because of how tired she was that broke my heart and I started to sob quietly on her shoulder. When I got home my grandma went to me and said my sister passed away. That meant she passed away not to long after I left. It was a couple hours to get there so I really did get there in time before she passed. My sister passed away on September 13th 2022. I felt even less emotionless towards being sad. I just felt like I didn't want to be sad so when my other family members pass away it won't hurt as much.

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer seven years ago. She was given 6months. When she managed to get better and walked again, I thought the worst was over and was so happy for her. Then, in December 2022 she has difficulty walking again and waa told by doctors that her cancer had spread. She gave up after that and passed in October last year. I am still in denial because I thought she would make it and live to a ripe old age. I miss my mom

yeah it was similar to my dad who died 5 weeks ago. He also survived 5 years of cancer that has spread all over his body and by fifth year we finally thought life is starting to normalize, we even went onto vacation trip where we walked 10km across the beach!. 3 months after vacation he had like 5 operations in a month. he has gotten neon yellowish skin and doctors said the liver is basicaly as good as dead. cant be helped no more... at that moment he lost all faith it will get better. It was horrific sight. I guess life always likes to kick us in the face when things finally start looking good. life is just a misery. im just so sorry for humankind alltogether. I guess we really would be better off if we never gotten into existence. such bullshit

It is terrifying. I just turned 19 and I’ve already dealt with a severe cancer scare. I had a birthmark on my left side one day turn black, bleed and it hurt to touch. I had it removed and it developed into a malignant skin tumor. In less than a week my life became regular body checks and getting a scan every 3 months to make sure it didn’t spread internally since it had blood flow. I was just becoming a sophomore and it turned my life upside down for 3 years before they stopped doing scans. I was told I’m at risk of having melanoma in the future and to always keep on eye out for changes. It can effect anybody at anytime and it’s devastating

I’ve never been there so maybe I’m wrong, but I think when a doctor tells you there’s nothing they can do and that you just need to make yourself comfortable, I think you kinda have to. When there’s really nothing you can do, there’s no point in crying or yelling. I think there’s a sort of peace there as well, knowing for certain that you will die soon rather than the way we normally live in fear of death coming randomly.

I remember coming across this video years ago and I was unable to watch it because I knew it was going to absolutely shatter my heart. It was only recently that I built up the emotional and mental fortitude to watch it; needless to say, I was a mess of tears by the end of it. However, much more importantly than that, I was able to take everything you said in the video and in your description to heart. It has inspired me to be the best person I can, to help others and to help myself more. To reach out and keep in touch with people I haven't spoken to for years. It reminded me that every single one of us only has a finite amount of time on this plane before we're called home. You're home now and even though I've never met you and you never knew me, you have left a significant impact on my life. Your time with us may have been short but you made more of an impact and difference in this world in just a mere 32 years than most people do in their entire lives. Your life was not a wasted one, what you've done for so many people, all over the world, is something most of us could only ever aspire to. I don't know if there's an existence beyond this one but if there is I know you're somewhere beautiful now. Either way, I know you're resting peacefully. Thank you, Daniel, thank you for everything.

I remember following this man’s videos when he was still with us. I got extremely afraid of becoming sick like him and guess what, 2 years ago it was my turn to get the big C. I was lucky to get it removed completely and I am clean since the surgery. That’s the only difference, I was lucky, Dan was not. Rest in peace brother.

Depends on your interpretation of "luck". Death is coming to you too. Knowing it's coming is what scares most. To die is to gain. Dan no longer has to fear death. Life is painful. Death is a release of the life pains. While living, you will experience pain due to losses of friends and loved ones. Sicknesses and heartaches. Dan no longer has to worry about that.

I have throat and neck cancer and start treatment in a week. I can't tell u how much this disease has taken from me. Lost my mom and every other relative to various cancers. I have one aunt left and she's in remission. The last time I had cancer it was 2012 and I was 32 and in great shape. Now we in my 40s and not so much. I'm literally debating on whether I should even go thro with the radiation and chemo or just let things happen naturally

About 10 years ago, my aunt woke up with a sore shoulder and thought she slept on it wrong, but after a week or so of it still being sore she went to the doctor and basically found out she had terminal lung cancer. She had never looked like she was sick or anything. She died less than a month later.

I followed him years ago and saw this as suggested. Yes, it is so so strange how some people at the end of their life with cancer look so remarkably healthy. Clear eyes, no dark circles under their eyes. No swollen bags under their eyes, it is unbelievable. They look healthier as they get closer to death. I started watching him after my mom died of metastatic cancer. I cant believe he has 14 million views on this. These cancer treatments most of the time don’t work. Being close to Germany, there are so many alternative centers that do great work with cancer. Chemo is a big moneymaker.

It definitely is. I can tell you even when they are wrong about you dying (like they were with me 12 years ago) it effects you in a very bad way. When they told me i was dying i went into a very bad depression and also had so much anxiety about dying at any moment. I would have panick attacks at night and call my mom and ask her to check on me in The morning because i was worried i would die and my small child would be left alone. Maybe its only because i wasnt actually dying. Ive heard other people say the same thing and that it took years for them to emotionally heal. But they are all alive so that could be why. I just lost my mother and she claimed to be at peace about dying. But she was incredibly depressed after loosing a child (my sister) and died 4 months later. She was already in bad health too and she didnt want to suffer anymore. So it could be different for everyone. But for me it was very hard to cope with.

There was a woman at my job that looked really great for her age. I did notice though as I was working there she kept discussing with this one woman that she was having issues and didn’t know what was going on. I had left that job for a few months came back and they told me she passed I was like wtf I knew she was having problems but I didn’t think it was cancer she looked fine they told me that I couldn’t believe it.

I've been stage 4 for over 7 years. I never lost my hair although I've taken many kinds of chemo, radiation, surgeries and radiation. I lost 50 lbs in the beginning but now you could never tell unless you saw all of my scars. It's kind of a double edge sword. I look fine, gained all my weight back and can work with the help of pain meds. But I don't always get taken seriously. My entire body hurts all the time and I get sick easily. Sometimes it's hard to get the care I need because some doctors don't believe me until they look at my records. I've had extreme pain and have had to beg to get something stronger than Tylenol. Can't always judge a book by its cover. Respect and love everybody

i think of him so often! I was close to him before he passed. 3 days later, when i was dealing with the loss of my dog at the same time, I woke up and saw Dan standing in my hallway. (im in America). and he was so life like! He didnt say anything, but tilted his head slightly and gently smiled. I said "I'm sorry, but you must have passed.." and I fell asleep. When I woke up, I immediately went online to try and find information on our dear Dan. What i found was the video of his family gathered together to share that he had finally passed. 6 years on and i still remember my experience with Dan so vividly. What a GORGEOUS soul. An honor to have spoken to him, no matter how little it may have been.

Our caretaker in work died of stomach cancer, he would come to my office and get sweets; in the past 6 months or so before he died he didn't eat so many sweets and he said his stomach was feeling bad. 2 weeks before he died he went to the doctors as his stomach had gotten worse, they told him he had cancer, it had spread, there was nothing they could do. they told him he had 2 weeks left to live. He chose to go home and die, he died sitting in his chair listening to his favourite music; and he died 2 weeks to the day that they said he would. It's too bad we can't have a national scan of everyone, where they take everyone in give them an MRI or a CT scan, and they can check up on the early stages.

It never gets any less sad to see someone facing their death, especially cancer. The beauty of KZbin is the human side it shows of a person that I’ve never met. I was diagnosed with leukemia after a routine check-up. Rushed to Emergency where I was told I may only have a week or two. I responded ridiculously well to chemo; I’ll probably live for several years. I wish everyone could be told what I was told. It wasn’t that bad. Acceptance only took about two days, I was able to prepare, and I learned so much about life before even leaving the hospital. I hope no one goes overboard with pity for anyone who is terminal. Just get present and be there for them. Help them toward acceptance because the “battling” attitude really doesn’t help and can even delay the GIFT of acceptance. Let the doctors do what they do and hope for the best. But remember, it’s only a tragedy if you make it one. We’re all terminal.
