Very sad to hear we have lost Peggie. She used to play often with my uncle, Alfie Joe Dineen from Sligo. RIP, Peg.

Agree 100% with Sue Nosky below. Peg recorded an LP with fiddle player Kathleen Smyth , accompanied by Mary Mulholland on piano on the Belfast-based "Outlet" label. The title of the recording was "Cherish The Ladies" - a good few years before the same-named Irish-American women's band was formed. A great recording, which can often be found on "eBay", and one which I recommend [ although I have some disputes about the tune titles ! ].

I think I remember a Kathleen Smyth , fiddle player, from the Fleadh and concerts in 1950s/1960s Roscommon??

World toilet day and international men's day are on the same date. That's what women's international day brought about.
