Matej's second round was pure insanity. Musicality, sound design, drops, crowd control. This man is a performer. And AVH is a tough opponent.

@@JJW667 Crazy to think that this round exists for 2 years now (he uploaded it in early 2022) but I also only found it bc of the first Loop Mayhem Event Feels good that he finally had the chance to show his rounds on a bigger stage and ofc I'm glad that you enjoy it so much :D

D-low has been talking on his KZbin channel on his reactions to these about wanting to see a change in Loopstations to allow the loopers to have all of their sounds already made so they can go on stage and just create the song instead of us having to listen to them building up for 30-45 seconds before the song starts but I'm totally with you. Hearing them construct the song in real time adds so much to it IMO, and gives you kind of a peak into how they do the things they do.

While Dlow makes sense and I see what he is saying, it would be a massive harm to a lot of harm in terms of time management. Basically Josh-O might benefit because his actual song starts at around the "Cool" part in One Time. Robin may benefit because he focuses on singing and this might make his job easier. But Christheodian's wildcard depended a lot on the buildup also being important. AVH will be left with nothing because his drops are nothing crazy, his buildups are what makes it important. And dynamic loopers like Bizkit are fucked because their rounds are from start to finish based on building more and more. So we will have differing time tracks than the normal 3 minutes we have.

Anyone can make things loud, both autotune which is sad but, the technicality of avh is years beyond matej. One is making music the other crowd pleasing(considering crowds like loud annoying drops now :(). First time hearing either but matej winning? yikes, sad times for true musicianship.

I don’t know if he switches up in small finals, but I find his rounds quite repetitive, if I listen to all of them in a short period of time. Still appreciate all of his songs tho

AVH to me seem to pretend to be making the sounds. Too clean and he did not use the microphone in the first set as much. Matej you can see physically and hear him physically performing the sounds.

They have people watch their hands and make sure that they follow abide by the rules. They are right next to the judges to make sure that they are made aware of cheating.

You can't really pretend to make the sounds here lol the entire judging panel is full of loopers, and they have a referee with a close up on the machine to make sure everything is fair.
