Black Pegasus. I love that name. I'm a 64 yr old white man...about to start Medicare. Never thought I would ever go on Medicare. Had no idea that you HAVE to go on Medicare. You get penalized by the IRS [the rich men north of richmond] if you fail to sign up. I have sat watching reaction vids like this by black rappers and music guys like Black Pegasus for the last hour...weeping. Why? Because I am hearing people who think I am fully different from them, and I think they are different from me. And it's the rich men north of richmond pushing ALL of us to think nobody agrees with us...when we all feel the same way. Black Pegasus is the one I wanted to leave a comment on because he speaks my mind more fluently than the others...but they were saying it too. We are ALL saying the same things. We have to stop allowing the rich men in DC and the stupid social media moguls and the enemies of our freedom to tell us what to think. EVERY...SINGLE...rap artist I have listened to says what is in MY heart. We are Americans. If we do not stand together we will all go down the toilet together. I salute you Black Pegasus, just as I did Oliver Anthony. I do not listen to country music, nor mountain music like this, nor rap or hip hop. But this message IS calling us to stand together. We must stop listening to these RMNOR (rich men...you get it...) and stop believing the hate. Content of character, not color, not creed and not whatever the proper pronoun might be. I am going to post an article on my patheos blog about this.
@wereintheendgamenow5137 Жыл бұрын
So Oliver was interviewed recently and told a story. He said up until literally one month before recording this song he was dealing with being alcoholic. One night he broke down and had a come to god moment and promised if he could do something with his music he’d never drink again. And stopped drinking. One month later a local radio station contacted him and asked him to perform this song. And here we are today!!! I’m not even religious and this gives me chills

Hey! I saw US exports of beer to the UK surpasse imports from the UK, so I wanted to warn you - there are some intriguing US porters, stouts, and ales, but most US brewers don't understand light beer, and All of the mass-produced US stuff is garbage. That being said - pay and costs in the US have gotten to the point where the majority of people cannot hope to ever have kids. The situation in western Europe is similar. Also, there's a LOT of media lying or not covering stuff. Like in Australia there were massive anti-lockdown protests. We hardly heard anything about it in the US. There have been a bunch of massively popular maga (make america great again) marches, and the media pretends they never happened. It's only sometimes, like with the collapse of Bud lite and disney, that it becomes hard for the media to hide what's happening. The US also has the problem that it's balkanizing. New York state and Texas state (to name some big ones) are perhaps more different from each other than England and Scotland are. It would depend how you measured (clothing and food, dialect, lifestyle, religion and politics). But the main point is, they are getting more different every decade. And the same thing is going on with smaller states. I live in Missouri now, and there's a similar divide growing between Missouri and Illinois, though they are next to each other. The same divide is growing in Canada between Quebec and British Columbia versus the central provinces. And I expect the divide is everywhere now: It is the places set up like cities persecuting the places set up like towns and pastures, the wealthy and the irresponsible against the hard-working responsible.
@Parbruek Жыл бұрын
Also, I've seen some people from Europe talking about the US taxes being low, at around 25%. This is true. But what crushes a lot of US people is medical bills. The medical system in the US pays a lot more for itself than the European one, that is a lot more of medical payments are coming from individual's pockets as opposed to being subsidized by taxes. And the US medical system is one of the most top heavy, and least practical ones in the world. For a full time job the employer is going to try to pay you close to minimum wages so they can pay for your medical plan, or you will have to pay a high percentage of your monthly salary for a medical plan. I pay something around $500 a month for a medical plan, and that's the most basic level, and it's not all tax deductible. So I spend a little more than a week out of every month paying for my medical plan, a little more than a week out of every month paying for my rent and utilities, and little more than a week out of every month paying for food. And this is why I don't have kids. But this isn't the story of the US. This is the story of the entire developed world.

YES!! We or rather the Rich men North of Richmond and those with initials like c, i and a; f, e and d; i, r and s; AND m, i, and c and everything that implies, have started and fought wars using our tax dollars to fund both sides for a very long time. The embarrassing part of it is that people in other parts of the world knew it before we the u.s. people did. My once proud American patriotism is now laying at my feet in a decimated heap about 1 breath away from dead. It's been so painful experiencing it. Now that so many of us, here and all over the world, have a clarified grip on reality, we need to resist EN MASS at the very next thing thrown at us. The Overtone Window is the only thing the Rich men North of Richmond and the many, many other criminal organizations known best by their initials truly fear; that is, the rising of the masses. Just be clear that WE are NOT each other's enemy. THEY are the guilty ones.

This is actually raging against the machine… in a beautiful, poetic, masterfully delivered song. He is so humble and I applaud that he put himself out there in such a vulnerable position and people are resonating with him because he is the brave man that we all wish we could be. He spares not a single word with fluff or padding. Every single word in this masterpiece is intentional and important. I have seen so many people have their eyes opened by this single man’s passionate lament. It’s encouraging and moving.

What a voice. This song is saying what all of us Americans have been feeling. While those rich men North of Richmond keep fighting over foreign wars, illegal immigration, pronouns, DEI, and other BULLSHIT, we are carrying the weight of the responsibility. That is OUR hard-earned money going to fund Rich Men north of Richmond pockets. Revolution is needed and coming to save this once great nation. We the People are crying out ...but the tears will soon stop. This song reflects the SOUL of our nation, and those men North of Richmond don't relate because their souls are already gone.

A teacher once told me that singers like Johnny Cash could never succeed in modern times without all the polish, voice coaching, and auto tuning that we’re all used to (this was when Cash was old but still alive). This guy uses natural emotion and raw authenticity to reach people on a fundamental level despite all the superficial social category reasons we’re all used to hearing why he shouldn’t be relatable to many. This is how I imagine people must’ve felt hearing Cash, BB King, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Louie Ledbetter, and NWA live when they all first came out.
