I saw these guys 3 times in the last 30 years. Brian Johnson's voice has always sound this good even today. Prior to him, Bon Scott was the singer until his death and also had a great voice. There's a reason why these guys are Australia's most successful Rock band. The song has nothing to do with Hell or the Devil. It was written by Bon Scott and it was about the long hours of driving in Australia in blazing heat when they started to tour early on in their career and being in this little van all of them and their instruments. It was so hot that it felt like driving down an highway to Hell.

Also, it makes me giggle when you say that you’re Christian and your mom would not like this. I grew up the same way. Went to Catholic school for 12 years from first grade to my senior year. I would blast AC/DC from my room and my parents would always talk about “that devil music“ and how I’d’go to hell’ for listening. my parents were also very big football fans. Somehow their music tastes would change when the very familiar bells would toll, signaling the beginning of AC/DC’s “Hells Bells“ that most stadiums started to incorporate during the games to gin up the crowds. They sure didn’t care that it was “devil’s music“ then! Lol.

This IS for REAL! NO LIP-SYNCHING! NO AUTOTUNE! NO HOCUS-POCUS, ALA-KAZAAM-ALA-KABOOM BULLSHIT! This performance was at the River Platte in Prague, Czeck Republic in 2009. There were 200,000+ fans that attended. Angus Young was 54 y/o and Brian Johnson {vocals} was 62. Angus's older brother, Malcolm {rhythm guitar} was 56 y/o. Malcolm was diagnosed with dementia and would be officially retiring from the band in 2014. His nephew Steven Young had filled in on rhythm once before when Malcolm had become ill with lung cancer in 2010. Malcolm made a full recovery from the cancer, came back to the group until he began showing signs of memory loss. We lost Malcolm on November 18, 2017 from dementia. To date, Steven Young is now his full-time replacement. RIP Malcolm

Can you imagine how they felt on that stage with that many people jumping up and down?

That entire album is great. There's nobody better in concert than AC/DC. They enjoy what they're doing, and bring the crowd along for the ride! Angus is an amazing guitar player, but their bass/drum combo is perfection. I can only imagine what a great feeling that audience reaction would be for an artist.

After retirement, I plugged in this song at the beginning of every awesome road trip. Recommendation "She's Got the Jack".

Got to see them up in Montreal (was living in VT at the time) in 1988. They kicked a$$!! Brian was 62 in 2009. They still make new music and are set to tour again.
