Boz Scaggs is just phenomenal! This song was originally released on the Silk Degrees album in 1976, one of his best albums. Each Boz album is different, some more soul, some blues, some rock, some disco, just a great lifetime of work. I highly recommend checking out more Boz, especially the album "Some Change," but you cannot go wrong picking any album (except "Other Roads," that was an outlier for my tastes).

Silk Degrees came out in the mid 70's and gave Boz his most successful run of hits, merging disco, funk and jazz sounds in ways we had never heard before. As others have already recommended, Lido Shuffle needs to be reviewed. Also, one of my favorites of the day - What do You Want the Girl to Do? The album is great top to bottom, even songs never released a singles. For unique sound and not a miss in the bunch I place this album in the rack with Van Morrison's Moondance.

Boz, his real name is William. He is first and foremost a bluesman. This studio album "Silk Degrees" is more or less Toto with Boz as the singer.
