I'm rewatching this 16 months after you posted it. It's mind blowing to hear you say you're *sooo close* to 100k subs and now you're over 380k subs.

All three of these are just him playing around, having fun, being daft and making music for the hell of it because he enjoys it so much. They're a nice juxtaposition to his darker stuff because they show that it's not only pain that fuels his music. It's just like breathing to him.

Hi guys. Great reaction again. I love having Andiroo on deck. This is my favourite of the three. However, I’m a lover of Swing music so I’m hearing Swing and Big Band style music in there too, not just Ska. I’m fascinated that Ren can so seamlessly blend these genres and fuse them into a completely dope new sound. Another winner from Ren. Love and respect from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia ✌🏼👋👋👋🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺

It's good to see Americans starting to appreciate a little ambiguity in their music. As most corporate output is becoming so homogenized and locked in, to appeal to a specific demographic, it does tend to sound sterile and boring. One of the best things about Ren is his ability to encourage a wider acceptance of music outside the very narrow comfort zone prescribed by the industry. One of the benefits of being independent. His recent popularity seems to be a testament to how hungry people are for this variety and authenticity.

You can feel the progression from the First 2 parts. The bars in part 3 I love especially ‘I rap too much my tongues got an ulcer’ Thanks guys. Get Andiroo back 😀🔥

Great reactions dudes. As someone that started with forced piano and quitting early it’s a bit of a regret that I didn’t solidify that base and went straight into brass instruments. Piano helps you visualize what you’re doing and the relationship between the notes. Much love keep doing what you’re doing 100k around the corner 🎉

I listened to the Justin Hawkins interview (while distracted working) but missed the part where he said he sees shapes. That means Ren has synesthesia if he sees shapes while thinking or creating music. It can come in different styles, some people smell colors, etc but that explains why he is highly creative. Their brains are wired differently where two senses overlap and converge. Thanks for mentioning that!
@analisasmith7927 Жыл бұрын

The dance moves are pure Lindy Hop from the 1841 surreal comedy film Hellzapoppin. An early film to give the time of day to black culture without stereotyping, although only in a section of the film. Nothing like it had been seen on celluloid before

BP--i feel you, credit to you on your discipline NOT to look at the vids/songs. re: his learning instruments, i wonder if his dad didn't also learn later in life, b/c he has a video of him playing like a traditional Welsh song at around age 50-something. his name is Martin Gill if you're curious. he's also taught psychiatry-related stuff at Cardiff U. (Wales) and other places. turns out he's a scholar in multiple areas. i encountered him on a psychiatry professor's channel, made a comment w/no expectation of anything, just a comment. he fires back an hour later & we had a discussion about the nature of suffering, duality, and the freaking Cathars. in case you wonder where Ren gets the big brain that is so curious and wide-ranging...daddy is the same. anyway, cheers at you from Vegas
